The Blue Eyes

Chapter 92 - KRIS, THE MAIN CHARACTER

The chunks of sharp and pointy ice, which were about the size of an adult's arm, were moving rapidly towards Kevin, who was unable to do anything about it.

A chunk seemed to be pointing straight at his eyes. The pointed object seemed to be targeting his eyes straight away.

Kevin could only surrender because now his brain was completely malfunctioning. It was only an inch from his face when the chunks of ice suddenly melted, turning into water that soaked Kevin's feet.

Kevin's breath was gasping after feeling a tremendous tension. He lowered his head and found his feet wet from the melted ice earlier. His body trembled violently knowing that he had just escaped death.

"Are you okay, Kev?" Kris suddenly stood beside him and asked in a worried tone.

Kevin looked stiffly at Kris, who was still in the form of a werewolf monster.

"Kris, were you the one who melted the ice?" The scientist asked in a slightly trembling voice.

Kris sighed after seeing Kevin's condition, which was thankfully not injured.

"I can't produce flames like other werewolf monsters, but I can use the air to transmit the heat generated from my body. That was all I could do earlier."

The scientist looked at the opponent with a look of despair. It looked like his power and Kris's won't be able to fight against that monster.

"Don't just give up. This is just the beginning, and we can still do other things to beat Mario." As if he could read Kevin's mind, Kris suddenly encouraged his lover.

"What else can we do now?" Kevin asked limply.

Kris didn't answer right away. He seemed to be thinking the best way.

"Can you freeze Mario's body, Kev?" Finally, the question left Kris's mouth.

"I can freeze him by touching. But, if it's long-distance, maybe it will just end like how our first strategy ended. His movement is so fast."

Kevin's answer didn't seem to make Kris satisfied. The brown werewolf once again looked for other ideas to beat their enemy.

"Kev, is there any swimming pool in this area?" Kris asked after a few seconds passed.

Kevin tried to remember if there was a swimming pool near the area, and suddenly he recalled something.

"The house left by my biological parents has a swimming pool in the backyard. You still remember that the house is near here, right?"

The red-eyed werewolf tried to remember where the house left by Kevin's biological parents was, and he nodded in response to the blue-eyed werewolf's question.

"Now, we have to lead Mario to the pool, Kev. I have a plan, and I'll explain it to you as we run."

Without waiting for Kevin's response, Kris immediately ran from the field. Kevin, who didn't understand, could only follow his lover who had run first. Damn! How could Kris just leave him?

The pair of monsters with different colors continued to run without changing their form. Kris turned his head and found that Mario was now chasing them. It looked like their plan worked.

At that moment, Kris started explaining his real plans to Kevin.

After he finished explaining, Kevin immediately shouted, "Are you crazy? I don't want to do it!"

"Don't be stupid, Kev. At least we can stop his movement for the moment. After that, you should think about how to kill him."

"But, what if you also get killed?"

The two werewolf monsters were still arguing when the house of Kevin's biological parents was already in sight.

Without answering Kevin's question, Kris shrewdly jumped onto the high roof of the house and kept running to the back of the building.

Kevin, who had no other choice, finally followed what his lover did.

The giant, furry red monster also quickly jumped onto the high roof. Due to its large size, several parts of the roof were badly damaged.

Kris and Kevin finally reached the poolside, and Mario quickly caught up with the two.

"Do what I told you earlier!" Kris shouted at Kevin before running towards Mario with a fast movement, then pushed Mario's giant body before the monster could dodge.

The two monsters of different colors and sizes then fought in the water.

Mario seemed to be having a hard time in the water, so he tried to get out of it. But, with all his might, Kris tried to hold him back.

Seeing Kris struggled so hard, Kevin finally started doing what Kris had ordered. The white-haired werewolf monster stuck his hands into the water in the swimming pool, then used his power to freeze the water.

And it worked! All the water in the pool finally froze, including the two figures that were trapped in it.

Oh no! Kris froze too! Now, what should he do?

Kevin was just thinking about how to destroy Mario's body without hurting Kris's body, but the ice in the pool gradually cracked from the edge, then continued to the middle, and the red-haired monster quickly managed to escape from the trap. The ice had now been crushed.

Kris, who was trapped before, was now also free and was lying on the crushed ice.

Seeing the helpless Kris, Mario immediately moved to attack Kris. But, Kevin moved quickly by directly approaching the red monster and immediately punched the monster's cheek with his fist covered with hard ice.

The monster bounced several meters into the walls of the house, damaging the walls severely.

"Hey, Uncle Mario. You said that your target is me, right? Then, why did you attack Kris?" Kevin asked disparagingly.

Mario tried to get up from his fallen position, but before he could do that, his eyes saw that the shards of ice in the pool suddenly floated up, and they were moving rapidly towards him. Immediately, he made a fire shield to shield himself from the ice attack. The ice hit the shield and melted down.

Seeing that he was safe, Mario pulled back the fire shield. But, right after the shield vanished, he was immediately surprised because he was hit again in the face. It was Kevin!

Not just one hit, but twice, three times, four times, five times, and the red monster was sprawling with a fairly severe wound on its face.

With an icy cold expression, Kevin looked down at the creature that weakly leaning against the wall of his parent's house, then his right hand formed a sharp ice sword.

He prepared to stab the monster's stomach with his ice sword, but unexpectedly, the monster rose again and kicked his body.

Kevin's body bounced away until he reached Kris's side, who was now trying to recover himself.

"You did well, Kev."

"Are you kidding me? He beat me back like that, and you said I did well?"

Kris chuckled at Kevin's annoyed tone. "Your own house is damaged, and this house is likely to be damaged as well. We indeed have to build our house by the beach after this," the caramel-brown monster casually spoke.

"Kris, we're in a desperate situation like this, but you can still talk about it? You're out of your mind."

Kris just smiled a little at Kevin's words, and then he asked, "Kev, can you distract the monster for a moment? It's up to you what you want to do with it, but at least hang on for at least ten minutes. Can you?"

Kevin stared in surprise at his lover, who had just spoken incoherently. "What do you mean?"

"I need to recover my power in a moment. Do anything with him. I don't mind as long as you don't kiss him."

Kevin felt like vomiting at what Kris just said. Who wanted to kiss an ugly old monster like Mario Doxon?

Even though he didn't know what Kris was planning, Kevin finally got up and prepared to attack Mario. Whatever was planned by Kris, it must be the best for them.

Kevin's two hands rose and two long swords made of ice were created and immediately grasped by his hand.

"I've never studied swordsmanship, so would you like to accompany me to practice, Uncle Mario?"

Kevin now looked so different. Even though at first he was afraid of Mario, but ever since he saw how Kris was willing to sacrifice himself by freezing with the red monster, his courage seemed to be rise to the sky. He didn't want to make Kris fight alone.

Kevin's two swords began to dance. He didn't know swordsmanship, so he just moved it according to instinct. The sword in his right hand moved towards the monster's neck, but the monster quickly kicked and swept away the sword. Fortunately, the sword was so strong and wasn't that easy to break.

Kevin continued to attack, but suddenly the monster created a fire in its two hands, then quickly grabbed Kevin's two swords. He immediately melted the ice sword that had been playing with him.

Damn! The red monster was getting serious!

After he finished with Kevin's sword, his hand shifted to grip Kevin's wrist, and Kevin felt the heat that couldn't be matched. It turned out that the red monster's hand was still covered in fire and it was trying to burn Kevin's hand!

Again, Kevin started to panic. At that moment, time suddenly seemed to stop, the wind blew fiercely, and dark clouds began to form above their heads. The atmosphere that was brightly lit suddenly turned dark.

Kevin could feel a very strong aura coming from behind him, and it seemed that he wasn't the only one who felt that aura. It seemed that the red monster in front of him also felt the same way because suddenly the monster let go of Kevin's hand and moved backward while his eyes stared in fear behind Kevin.

What's behind him?

Kevin swallowed nervously, but he dared himself to look back and found a caramel brown werewolf monster standing upright. Its body was surrounded by a red and blue aura that coalesced to resemble a steady whirlwind. His right eye was red, and his left eye was blue.

Oh, that's just Kris, Kevin could breathe a sigh of relief.

Wait. THAT'S KRIS?
