The Executed Sage Reincarnates as a Lich and Begins a War of Aggression

Episode 62: The Wise Man Confirms The Restored Golem

"Eternal life and youth? You've decided you want that. It's an instant answer."

In response to my inquiry, Luciana speaks out without hesitation.

I also asked Luciana, an executive, the question I asked Henry.

As a result, the opposite answer was returned.

Between the two of us, Luciana shrugs her shoulders and states:

"I knew I didn't want to die. If you can live forever, Atashi wants it."

"Clean."

"Don't you think that sounds more like a sacubus?

Luciana says somewhere well.

She was proud of her species from day to day and was always prestigious.

I am confident in what I say and do.

I hear that many in the Demon King's Army are intoxicated by her.

Her own charm would be a factor, not the properties of the sacubus.

"If you're going to be immortal anyway, how fascinating is a vampire. I knew it was important that you didn't change your appearance so much... no matter what, don't worry, you won't die without Sama the Demon King, okay?

Luciana laughed mischievously, fingering my nose.

That's where I first notice.

She is not the only motive for eternal life.

I cared about me.

He's the only one who can resist dying first.

"I'm sorry to keep you company."

"Don't apologize. Is that so now? We have each other's interests, so don't worry about it."

That's what Luciana sighs about.

He seemed a little frightened.

I shut up without being able to argue.

I couldn't think of any raw hate and thoughtful words.

I just have to thank you.

Luciana, who didn't see me like that, changed the subject.

"Well, that's fine, I'll get back to you from the lab. Looks like we've analyzed the golem."

"Right."

I switch my thoughts too.

They said it would take a little while, but it's a lot faster than I imagined.

It had only been ten days since I requested analysis.

Perhaps he spared himself while he slept and immersed himself in the analysis.

Luciana, finishing her message, turns this way as she opens the door.

"Atashi can't come with me because I have something to do, but let me know how it turns out again"

"Okay."

As I nodded, Luciana waved and left the room.

Easy words and deeds, but she can be caring about others.

In my lifetime, it's the first thing I didn't realize.

At the time, we were enemies, and we could only kill each other when we confronted each other.

What an odd edge.

Being alone, I just decided to head to the lab.

Anyway, I have to see how the golem is going.

On the road, I'll tell Grom and Henry what's going on and take him.

At the entrance to the laboratory, the director was waiting.

"Demon King! Welcome aboard! Please, come in."

When she greeted us in a grim state, she began to soak and lead the way.

Continue down the hallway through the entrance examination.

This is Henry's first visit to the lab, but the alarm doesn't go off because he's registered for magic.

Interestingly looking around the interior, Henry sees the person to thank every time he's different.

"You're very welcome."

"That's true. Because the other day you provided the Demon King with a wonderful sample. Thank you for your time."

In the eyes of the director, who replied with pleasure, the neighborhood was clearly floating.

I can see a considerable lack of sleep.

But she was strangely fine.

He enjoys the research from the bottom of his mind and doesn't even care about extreme fatigue.

That said, I have trouble being overworked and fallen.

Sooner or later the institute will have to make rest compulsory.

They'll rebel, but I can't give up on all this.

While I realize the unexpected challenges, I move on within the institute.

Along the way, Henry threw questions to the director.

"I'm here to see something called an iron cannon, where is it?

Then the director, smiling, stuffed Henry.

When she holds Henry's hand, she waves up and down in momentum.

"Were you interested in artillery! Then let the others guide you! I really hope you will take a test shot and experience the performance!

The director called in the person who called in the street and instructed Henry to be escorted to the storage room of the cannon.

The officer immediately nods and leads Henry.

"Admiral, I'm going to look at the cannon. Let me rendezvous later."

"Okay."

Me and Grom, who dropped Henry off, continue to follow the director.

The walking director raps as he looks at us.

"No, that golem is amazing... I was surprised enough to proceed with the analysis. Are you sure it was manufactured in Magic Country?

"Definitely. I seized it from the army of the Magic Country."

It would be impossible to manufacture it in another country.

I've never heard of a country more technologically capable than Magic Country.

"I hear you've analyzed it, but it's true, isn't it?

"Don't worry there. Because we did everything we could. We've accomplished a lot."

The director answers Grom, who inquires with intimidation, with a fist in his chest.

She hasn't moved a bit.

The enthusiasm for research seems genuine.

Eventually I arrived in the desired room.

It was in the basement of the laboratory, divided by thick steel doors.

The director unlocks multiple locks and opens the door.

"Okay, go ahead. This way."

At the end of the door, there is a white monochromatic space.

There was a golem sitting in the center of it.

Compared to the time of capture, new and strange parts have been added.

Grom, with the golem in his eyes, just ran over.

"Ooh! Ooh! Isn't it beautifully restored!

"I have tried to repair the damaged area, with reference to other places. You're losing some functionality, but you can move it first."

Grom was obsessed and touching the golem while the director gave a hard explanation.

Obviously, it's rising more than usual.

Actually, I was wondering if you were more eager to analyze the golem than anyone else.

He liked the shape so much.

"This is the result of the analysis. We have information about the Golem."

"Hmm."

Look at the materials handed over.

There seemed to be quite a bit of detailed examination of the Golem's underlying performance and internal structure.

After all, the lineage is as different from the existing surgical formulas and designs.

Much of the technology used by the Magic Country to advance on its own was used.

The golem in front of you seems to have been restored to the extent possible.

They are therefore compensating for what they were unable to reproduce with the technical skills of the laboratory.

He's lost multiple functions, as the director said, but the drive association seems to be safe.

Of particular concern among them was the function of vision sharing.

The small crystal placed on the head of the golem acts as an eyeball, reflecting the scene in the operator's vision.

This allows the surgeon to remotely manipulate the golem like his own body.

Too far apart, however, they don't function and inevitably can't be manipulated.

It would be for this reason that the Golem did not set up a chase against the Holy Cane Army during the battle at the fort.

We can only run the golem to the extent that we can share vision.

With the operator sitting in the fort, his range of action will be limited one by one.

It was an unexpected weakness of a high-performance golem.

(I see...)

I load the material all the way.

Having grasped the full story, I spoke to the director.

"Director, I'd like to hear your personal views."

"... may I not hesitate to say it?

"No problem."

When I give my permission, the director says with a bitter look at the golem.

"I can understand design ideas and intentions. As for your imagination, you're already a genius itself. I regret it, but I have to admit. But there's not enough technology to be deadly."

The director turned the material I had and pointed to one of them.

She frowns and insists dissatisfied.

"First of all, as a prerequisite, this golem is not complete. The Demon King must have captured what was put into action on an experimental basis."

The director turns the material again.

Now he showed me another one.

The red letter annotations are written all over the place.

"There are as many as one hundred and seventy-eight magical flaws just to be mentioned lightly. Of course it is the number of damages and faults removed. It's incredible, but you seem to be beating out more performance than you should by successfully engaging defects with each other. Even if you crush the flaws and adjust them perfectly, they won't perform this far. It's a product of miracles."

"Again?"

I was in general agreement with the Director.

The Magic Country does possess tremendous technical skills.

Still, however, this is not just the stage where we can manufacture this golem.

The faults and unresolved flawed structures somehow compensated for it, which had resulted in the establishment of this weapon.

I don't think I designed it intentionally.

I can also nod what the director describes as a miracle.

"Would you like to activate it? We can't get the original performance out, but we might have something to discover."

"Right. Please."

I nod and respond.

It's still the easiest to understand to actually move it.

It is also an essential task to wash out improvements.

Grom leaning against the golem was also looking at this one the way he expected it to be.

Even if I don't put it in my mouth, the feeling comes through.

Because of this, I'm going to respond to his strong request.
