Fei Yin quickly approached one of the coffins and lifted the lid.

Fei Yin’s body shook, and his eyes started to water, but he still went over to the other coffins and opened them one by one.

Each of them was empty, and by the time Fei Yin open the last one his eyes were completely bloodshot.

When he saw the last one was empty too his body became slack and he fell to the floor.
Seeing this scene Yang Su and Fang Chen didn’t know how to react.

If the coffins Bai Zhou produced were empty, then did that mean his family's bodies were gone?

Xi Shen looked back to Bai Zhou and asked, “Why are they empty?”

Bai Zhou remained silent with a frown on his face. Seeing that he wasn’t answering, Xi Shen let out a sigh as he guessed Bai Lu must have ordered Fei Yin’s family to be got rid of either on their way here or worst before they even left the Academy.

Xi Shen turned to a sobbing Fei Yin and said, “Fei Yin, do you remember your oath back in the Academy? What do you want to do? If you want to resolve the grudge in your heart by cutting off Bai Lu’s bloodline, I’ll have my father do it.”

Xi Shen said that with an extremely placid expression on his face. It was almost terrifying how calm he was talking about the extermination of someone’s bloodline.

“Okay.” the Emperor’s response came as if he was a doting father who would give his son anything he asked for.

Immediately after, a golden finger appeared out of the void and tap Bai Zhou’s forehead.

Bai Zhou’s body then began to disintegrate from his legs upwards.

However, his expression was calm, as he had accomplished his goal. Now his family bloodline will become the new main family of the Bai Clan with that mysterious man’s support.

But Xi Shen’s next words caused his expression to change.

“And cripple everyone in his side branch of the family’s cultivation base, least someone tries to take revenge on my subordinate.”

“Done.”

The Emperor said, which was immediately followed by screams coming from several places in the Bai Clan. But it wasn’t just here, everywhere on the Maple Continent in the different Academies, Bai Clan member's from Bai Zhou's bloodline had their cultivations crippled.

Xi Shen watched as Bai Zhou completely disintegrated, and shook his head.

Xi Shen then heard his father’s voice in his mind, ‘Shen’er, remember that your birthday is coming up. Try not to cause so much trouble until then.’

‘Huh? Old man who’s causing trouble, it wasn’t my fault I was attacked.’

Xi Shen heard his father chuckle at his words before he sensed his presence left his mind.
