The Hidden Myth of Ji Dara

Chapter 149: Personal Future Plans

But when they looked around and saw that the rest of the Qi Stones they placed around his body had been totally drained and had crumbled into dust, they began to accept the fact that, it might have been the case…

Seeing that the Elders had accepted the explanation Sam suggested, Dara breathed a huge sigh of relief…

But to shatter any form of suspicion, he then hit the nail on the head with the one Long given him, albeit rephrasing it slightly and claiming that it was the Dark Qi he had absorbed back when he began to cultivate that allowed his body to hibernate till it has absorbed enough energy to recover rather than claiming it to be his cultivation technique…

"So the Dark Qi has such a unique properties!?" Elder Ting's clinical curiosity kicked in as she asked;

"Not really, he is most likely the only one who can enjoy such uniqueness…"

Uncle Min added as everyone finally calmed down from their shocked state but were still a little wary and cautious about approaching Dara…

After all, none of them knew the repercussions or consequences of his recovery; what if he had sold his soul to a demon or devil?

What if his consciousness or mind has been taken over by a sinister entity?

But whilst the rest of them were thinking this way, Aunt Lin abruptly dashed towards him and jumped into his embrace as she laid atop him within the casket, hugging him like he would soon be taken away by some mysterious entity whilst she bawled her eyes out like a little girl who just had her ice-cream stolen by a bully…

Her actions really stunned the rest of the group as they have never seen this side of her in forever; not even Uncle Min could claim to have witnessed this side of her…

She could barely speak as her throat felt heavy, but Dara simply stroke and caressed her hair;

"It's alright honey, no one can take me away from you…"

Dara spoke with a soft and tender tone as Aunt Lin's tears soared to another level…

She had already begun to wonder how her life would be without him; Perhaps, she would just grow old and die single because there was no one around that interested her one bit; not even Uncle Min…

Furthermore, it was not like she belittled them, but once someone has been with another person who has achieved impossible feats, every other man simply look or seem underserving in their eyes…

She had been thinking of how miserable she would have been without him, especially when considering the fact that she had nothing physical to remember him by, especially since she had not born any child for him…

Thus, she had been not only sad, but miserable and hopeless from within, thus, when she realized that he was back, she didn't care if his mind or body had been taken over by a demon or devil, whoever he becomes, he would still be the same Dara that made her heart tug whenever he was mentioned or seen…

Ahh haha!

Aunt Lin continued to bawl her eyes out and Dar's clothes was now soaking with tears, but he didn't stop her, and when the Elder' wanted to speak, Dara placed his index fingers on his lips to shut them up and allow her to have her moment…

He was the only one who could understand how she truly felt, and if she wanted him to destroy a dozen tribes at this point, he was ready to mobilize all the troops and power at his disposal to achieve that…

Aunt Lin has given him a sort of mental liberation that twenty years of his life couldn't give him…

He had always felt like she had made him mature faster than humanly possible, and that came from the way she thought, did things and relate with him… She seemed to tick all of his boxes whenever they are together, either intentionally or unintentionally…

He saw her as a vital part to his growth, and his life; after all, what else does a man who can provide for an entire tribe needs if not true love, motherly care and nasty sex life?

The rest of the Elders had to shut their mouths out of the  sheer respect and value Dara held in their hearts and as a result, despite crying for half an hour nonstop, none of them dared  to breathe too loudly…

After the half hour mark, Aunt Lin finally stopped crying but still didn't speak and simply laid on his chest, and the moment Dara noticed what was going on, he waved the Elders away telling them to return the next day by rolling his index finger clockwise…

He had truly grown to love Aunt Lin, and sex aside, the sheer growth of his mentality since they had started sharing the same bed had been too valuable for him to lose such a gem…

He continued to caress her hair whilst they both were within the coffin, whilst she just hugged him tightly, unwilling to let him go even if a god descended with the intention of taking him away;

It was like she was only going to let him go unless she was dead; it was some sort of obsession; one that borders between being a caring fanatic and being possessed, but she didn't care whichever it was, as long as she was with him…

After another half hour, Dara began to speak some sweet nothings to her; the sweet nothings he knew made her tick; the ones that made her behaver like a spoilt little princess; the ones that makes her realize that he was truly the one…

She had already developed heavy eye-bags from shedding tears but Dara made all of that and her wait and grief worth it by speaking to her, as softly and lovingly as he could which helped her recover from her grieving state as quick as possible and as a result, by the end of the day, Aunt Lin had approached him with a kiss; no groping or touching or erotic intents…

It was like she was checking to see if it was truly him from the way he kissed her…
