The Hidden Myth of Ji Dara

Little Wu thought to himself with a confused frown; [The Truth Seeker Orbs is an object that transcends Space-Time; well, it might have little difficulty with Time, but it definitely transcends the Space Dao…

Moreover, the Seeker within its name isn't just there to make the technique sound better…]

He added whilst looking towards Old Man Li who for some strange reasons still looked unperturbed by the situation;

It was looking like he either had the confidence that Min Hong was going to pull a shocker out of his butt, or he was simply not worried about his safety, because four Truth Seeker Orbs landing on Min Hong would at least have him bedridden for weeks if not months…

Meanwhile, Shen Bing was busy sneering at Min Hong as her eyes darted all over the place, looking for which one of the Spatial portals he was going to appear from should in case he uses that Omnipresence technique which she knows takes a lot of energy from him…

Min Hong took several steps backwards, but just as he was about to enter the spatial tunnel behind him; Splurt! Blood streamed out of his right eye as it turned purplish-black;

"Dao Art; Void Style – Dimensional Storage!"

He added as tunnel behind him linked deeper into the void;

Kraka…Bang!

The moment the tunnel connected to the void, a massive black lightning with the thickness of a gas pipeline bolted out of it, zapping all the positive energy in the area whilst radiating an unorthodox aura;

=Yes, it was the same Negative Lightning Min Hong stored within the void when he was battling the Yao Commander…=

The lightning zigzagged into the spatial tunnel before tearing through one of the spatial point around Shen Bing, stabbing towards the back of her neck; Kaboom!

"Eh!?"

"Unh!?"

Shen Bing and even Little Wu were totally caught offguard by the situation whilst Old Man Li simply grinned slightly;

[Cheeky little bastard; so he placed a technique within another technique to simply catch his opponent unaware…] He thought to himself;

[Using one technique to conceal the presence of the other; very smart…] Little Wu also commented;

[Tch… Indirect attack; to think I will fall for this sort of tactics…] Shen Bing ridiculed herself for being too conceited…

"Dao Art; Time Style – Omnipresence!" Min Hong once again muttered as he disappeared from his current location and appeared about 25 meters southeast of Shen Bing…

But the moment he reappeared, the weapons abruptly altered their direction and made a beeline for him once again;

"Damn it, these weapons seemed to have lock onto my Qi signature…" Min Hong muttered beneath his panting breath as he flicked his wrists and wielded the 'Soul Slayer Blades';

"Alright, we are already into the last minute; time to go for broke!" Min Hong added as he darted towards the incoming weapons seemingly having decided to take them head on…

"Dragon Slayer Sword; First Stance - Chaotic Soul Slash…"

Min Hong bellowed as his soul power surged madly and then poured into the twin blades….

Kla…Cla…Kla!

Both blades began to vibrate as it seemed like the amount of soul power Min Hong was pouring into them were already surpassing the limits of what they could accommodate;

But just as Min Hong thought it was over and he was about to collide with the truth seeker weapons;

Boom!

Out of nowhere, Min Hong's soul power jumped through the roof and surged wildly like a grizzly bear on 50 pounds of cocaine;

Kaboom!

His eyes turned blank and seemed lost; then all of a sudden a completely different aura poured out  of his soul body and dispersed into the area;

"Unh…What's happening!?"

Little Wu asked in shock as Old Man Li shook his head in curiosity hinting to Little Wu that he absolutely had zero idea about the situation…

The spar had been progressing at insane speed with several surprises sandwiched in-between, but none of those surprises exceeded the scope of the Old Man's understanding, but now, things were different;

Not only was the aura Min Hong radiating now mysterious, it also seemed a little more ancient than Old Man Li and also seemed to have transcended their current Plane of Existence;

"Hiding powers of this level when fighting with me; are you trying to ridicule me?" Shen Bing blurted in frustration as she began to feel powerless in the presence of the aura;

"Who are you!?"

Old Man Li asked as he took a step forward, and the moment the step landed, lightning flickered in and out of his body as his eyes began to glow in flashes; his aura also erupted and the moment Little Wu saw what was going on;

He also let himself loose as he felt Old Man Li wouldn't have done that except he sensed some sort of threat coming out of Min Hong…

Everything might have taken a long time to describe, but they all happened simultaneously at the speed of thought…

Min Hong (or perhaps whoever it was) simply looked over to Old Man Li and Little Wu with a confused expression apparent on his face, he seemed to be confused about what was going…

Then he sensed an imminent danger and looked over, and just as the weapons arrived, the figure simply squinted his eyes;

…!

Everywhere instantly became silent as these weapons froze midair;

Bang…Bang!

Old Man Li and Little Wu abruptly lost control over their cultivation when the weapons froze midair; Shen Bing on the other hand staggered several steps backwards as she threw up four consecutive mouthfuls of blood;

"H-how is this even possible!?" She muttered;

"I've been stripped of my control over the Truth Seeker Orbs…"

Her eyes became unfocused as her brain tried to comprehend the impossible phenomenon that just happened to her…

Little Wu sent a mental transmission towards Old Man Li, but just as he was about to respond, they all saw the weapons begin to shrink as they seemed to be aggressively compress back into their base form; the Truth Seeker Orbs…

"Eh, where am I?"

"Why does this place feel familiar?"

"What are these?"

The figure asked rhetorically with his final question being addressed towards the Truth Seeker Orbs under his control…

He then compressed them further until they were the size of ping-pong balls;

"Oi, you two…" Min Hong (or whatever was currently possessing him) called out to Little Wu and Old Man Li;

"Unh? Is he...?" Little Wu asked as Old Man Li opted to respond to him via mental transmission;

[Just do as he says and stall for time…]

The statement caught Little Wu offguard…
