The Latest Game Is Too Amazing

Episode 49: The Hero of the Church

Although I was once puzzled when I told Elf's settlement my story with Old Dragon Vuivre, the story proceeded in the direction of accepting Vuivre. It felt like I had to accept it the most.

Cornelia reconciled with her father, and in the process she became close to Cornelia and called her Nell just like the Havoks.

Then her father's wedding ended safely, and we left the Elf settlement and returned to Clermont.

Summer holidays are over while we spend time in the Elf settlement and the second semester has already begun. Although the summer vacation assignment managed to be completed, instead, the exams conducted at the end of the holidays were only slightly degraded.

Well, isn't that impossible? Too many shocking things have happened this past summer, and I've been hanging up on the other side of the world and completely forgetting about my studies. From the sight of it, it seems like he was playing all the games and playing around, but the reality isn't.

When she returned to Clermont, Rosline had already returned to Clermont. Northeast Commune's peace was over without waiting for our return.

The vampires who were in the territory of the Duke of Numur and the northeastern part of the Commune were all driven away by the Royal Kastal Army and the coalition forces of the Union of the Communes and the Weixel Empire at the request of the Duke of Numur, and the Commune finally regained its peace.

It seems that the fact that the vampires were not fully active and that the three countries cooperated and crushed them with overwhelming force also cleaned them up so quickly played a role.

Leave the remainder of the tranquillity to the Duke of Numur, and Rosline returns to Clermont without having time to breathe. The situation in the country has calmed down, and in the precarious situation of the absence of a national lord, national politics has lagged, so Rosline has decided to hold a crowning ceremony in order to become a full national lord, or queen.

It will be matched by a ceremony to win this battle against vampires. Apparently, a hero medal will be awarded to someone who was particularly active in the battle of vampires on the spot. This will be targeted not only at the Union of the Communes but also at persons who have cooperated in the crusade against vampires regardless of their nationality.

In other words, supposedly, I have to go to the ceremony to get credit for the Clermont retrieval. It makes me feel weird to have to look at the Vixel Empire's emperor-class state dignitaries again, but it's better than letting them be nobles. And the only salvation is that someone I know will attend the ceremony.

Master Alexia has also decided to be awarded a medal. Most of all, she won't be anywhere near me because she's going to be a lineman in the Vixel Empire.

The inhabitants of Clermont will not be in a complicated mood because the human beings of the Weixel Empire have just been attacked will be awarded an honorable medal. I know it includes political implications, but Alexia deserves to be awarded a medal. Because she was contributing to the fight against vampires in the Northwest of the Commune, and she was also contributing to the fight in the Northeast of the Commune.

After that tea party, Master Alexia went with Roslyne to the northeast of the Commune, where she said she led the Weixel Imperial Army to work.

On the contrary, the Havoks don't get medals, but they seem to get rewards instead. That's enough for me, too.

The crowning ceremony proceeded inconsistently. Together with the ministers of the Union of the Communes, in the presence of dignitaries of the Weixel Empire and the Kingdom of Castal, the Archbishop of the Church offered God's prayer and was awarded the crown by the Archbishop after Rosline had been sworn in. At that moment, Rosline became queen of this country with fame.

Until recently, she acted together as a companion, and when she witnessed the moment she took over as queen in front of her eyes, she was reminded of the difference in identity even if she did not respond. I could only keep an eye on her from a distance. I was just a little bit of it.

Some roselines have gone from the comune to peace and become queens. I'm curious about the vampire masterminds that have fled, but they won't be so easy to get hit with than they are getting help from the Weixel Empire. I think the promise made to Mr. Raul has been broken.

So you don't need me anymore.

For one thing, what I was trying to do is going to be over. There is no way to find out the truth about 'Another World' being connected to another world without a clue.

That doesn't have an immediate purpose?

I was noticed wandering around the universe for no other purpose. I get a headache for adding and subtracting my stupidity.... what do we do now?

If I had been buried in thought, the crowning ceremony would have moved on to the award of the Medal of End. The heat was cooling right after the crown.

"In this battle against vampires, our country has been in an unprecedented crisis since its founding. But with a great deal of support from the Weixel Empire and the Kingdom of Castal, our country was able to rise up and fight hand in hand with both countries and defeat the hands of the vampire demons. Thank you very much for your support."

Roslyne's speech strikes the ears of a quiet crowd.

"And in this battle, we have to honor those who are most committed to saving our country with nothing but merit. We honor their achievements and award honorable hero medals in our country"

My servant, who serves beside Roslyne, took the medal.

"Lord Marie Alexia von Zavalish, Nobleman of the Weixel Empire"

Alexia leaves in front of Roslyne when she is greeted by Roslyne's minister. Rosline received a medal from her subordinate and handed it to Alexia after she had spoken.

Is Alexia familiar with the ritual of this hand or is it proceeding smoothly? If I fail here, I stand out badly. I'm going to be so ashamed.

Me next. I'm getting nervous.

"Orthodox Church Castal Temple Knight, Lord Oliver"

The name went up against expectations.... who would that be? I've never heard the name.

A man in one plenty of fine clothes comes forward from a church attendee. He was still an unfamiliar person. I guess he is a knight because he is a temple knight, but he was not very much like a trained knight.

Roslene's mouth was very much the same as Alexia's, so I don't know how Oliver got involved with the battle of vampires, but what I don't know is that he was active in the battle between the Northeast and the Northwest of the Commune.

But you don't look like the kind of guy who fights on the front lines. If you belong to the church, you could be a healer, that is, a magician standing like a monk in this world, so maybe he's someone who worked in the treatment of allies.

Lord Kaios.

The advent of the mysterious hero Oliver was completely out of tension. I also remember the procedure because of the attention paid to it. Even though Roslyne made me practice in advance. Thanks to this, I think I'll manage to be safe.

The medal was still grossly disproportionate to his own clothing, which was luxurious and function-focused enough to be awarded to a representative of a country. Yeah, you can just wear it. It seems to be an item of equipment. Although the effect is not significant unless there is hidden correction. Should I still wear it?

"You don't have to wear it all the time, but it's a medal of authority, so don't lose it."

Seeing me holding the medal, Roslene stabbed the nail. I'm with her after the ceremony. Master Alexia is with you.

When I saw Master Fumi Alexia, she wasn't wearing it.

"Maybe you should wear it if it's an official place, but you shouldn't usually wear it. Because some people will be accepted as if they were showing off their medals. Teachers don't like to flirt with merit."

Is that the way you see it? I'm going to buy some unwanted jealousy. Which was embarrassing, and I decided to turn it into an inventory before it was any trouble.

"With that said, will Master Alexia return home? Looks like the vampire thing is over."

"No, I plan to go to Northwest Commune once I stay in Clermont for a few more days. How about a teacher with you?

"Northwest Commune?"

"The teacher may not yet know, but under the direction of His Majesty the Emperor, full support by the military is beginning. I thought I'd help. Because His Majesty the Emperor has given us words like that."

You're moving around the Commune to rebuild, too. It may also make sense politically for the Weixel Empire to support its reconstruction, but if it is properly implemented with words, it can be liked and trusted.

But can it remain flown by Master Alexia? I don't think my powers will help rebuild.

If my profession is not a magician, but an alchemist, I can make useful items such as making potions to heal the injured.

Unfortunately, however, it cannot be changed from the primary position chosen when deciding on the avatar. I mean, you can't change from a magician to an alchemist. No matter how many billing items you can initialize your skills and status, you can't even change your profession.

If you're going to be an alchemist, you need to recreate a new character, and if you're going to make high-quality items, you need to level up now. It will take at least a month.

You know, when that happens, there's only a few things you can do. We could only work together, for example, by defeating the demons around us.

"But it might not be a good idea to take Kaios to Northwest Commune. Kaios is a hero here. Northwest Commune doesn't have very good feelings about the government of the Commune. It may be unreasonable, but some residents may resent Caius for not saving us."

Roslyne makes a somewhat tannic surface. Master Alexia argues against that.

"With all due respect, Your Grace. I don't think the local area has just stepped out to rebuild and the teacher's rumors have been conveyed. Unless you are clearly identified with a commune soldier, you will act with me, and you will not be noticed in your teacher's outfit. Only the teacher is an exotic adventurer, not under the Comune. The fact that the teacher has cooperated so far also has a personal connection with His Majesty. Doesn't the Commune have the right to restrict its actions? This is virtually like keeping your teacher in seclusion. If you stay in Clermont, your move to make your teacher a nobleman again could be lively. Wouldn't you rather keep it away?"

Roslene pushed silently. Apparently, the people who claim to want to be nobles about me hadn't cut it off yet. You haven't given up yet. I guess I should have stayed a little longer in the elf settlement.

"Okay, Lord Alexia. Leave it to the will of Kaios. Maybe you shouldn't stay too long. The Emperor seemed interested in you, and he invited you to come under his command again."

"There is a meritocratic aspect to His Majesty's preference for competent figures. The strength of the teacher is one of the finest in the Weixel Empire. It is also natural to wear His Majesty's glasses. But you won't be solicited unless the teacher wants you to."

Dear Alexia, that's overrated. In front of her, I remember the time of the meeting. That's when the Emperor of the Weixel Empire told me something like giving me a status worthy of heroes.

I thought that solicitation was just a compliment, but what if I meant it? That's what's going to happen next time if I say no badly.

But if they make me a nobleman, it's not a hoard. Then it would be better to follow Master Alexia.

"Dear Alexia, I'm coming with you."

"Is it true? ⁉ Then we'll arrange it that way."

Yeah, why don't we ask the two of you about Mr. Oliver?

"What kind of person is Mr. Oliver, the other person who was given that hero medal? I know you probably got a hero medal for someone who was active in the fight against vampires."

Roslyne and Alexia squeeze their eyes at my questions.

"Well, I was losing it. You didn't know Lord Oliver. Either way, he was active in the battle of vampires in the Northwest, so you don't have to know. Lord Oliver belongs to the Knights of the Castal Temple of the Church. He usually supports missionary work in the Kingdom of Castal, but he heard of fighting vampires and joined them as reinforcements in the Kingdom of Castal. Since joining the army of the Kingdom of Kastal, we have fought together. Quite a man of strength."

"Knights of the Temple of Castal? You have a knighthood in church, too. Are knights all knights after all?

Even in the history of the real world, the Order of the Knight, founded with the approval of the Church, exists for the protection of pilgrims. Is the Knights of this world the same as that?

But it's not what I think of a knight. I also saw many real knights in this world from when I was in the Kingdom of Castal, so I didn't get the image of Mr. Oliver doing the knight, although it was bad for him.

"The Knights of the Church basically work to escort church officials and crusade demons. Some knights are knights because they are knights, but not necessarily knights. A lot of magicians just belong to church officials. Lord Oliver is basically a magician, too."

Roslene clogged her words and looked at Master Alexia.

"Right. He's a magician. He is, but he's quite different from the general way of fighting magicians. Maybe in a way, it's just like me."

"Are you that different?

"Well, like the other magicians, they beat the demons directly and defeated them without treating their injuries."

Master Alexia wields her arms cutely.

But the answer wasn't unexpected to me.

Indeed, magicians, the general way of fighting a profession called 'Another World' healer, basically often supports allies, and it becomes a major role to primarily recover and improve allies' abilities.

That's not why you don't fight demons directly. Sometimes I fight alone. In that case, it is fundamental to use a very small number of attack-based skills or to compensate for low physical attack power with blunt but powerful weapons like Mace. Emilia, a healer, fits just into that typical style of combat.

But healers have a different style of combat besides the typical one. It's what Master Alexia called a "beating healer," a direct demon beating.

Healers have many skills that basically rely on "spirit" parameters to increase or decrease their power. However, there are also skills that rely on the "force" parameter to increase or decrease power.

To utilize this skill, it will be assigned to the "force" parameter, resulting in higher physical attack power that should have been lower. Use that attack power to mount a weapon, a handful, and hit and defeat enemies at close range.

In other words, let's call it an attack-specific combat style.

The action of beating is really low reach and forces melee fights, so the disadvantages of being prone to enemy attacks go hand in hand, but on the other hand, there are advantages of being able to strike in quick succession.

This is something that is known if it is a game, and today, when you can start a formal service and initialize your status with a billing item, it is rare but by no means possible.

But that seems unusual in Alexia's eyes and in Roslyne's. I wonder why that is.

Compared to the healer swinging on the "spirit" parameter, the so-called "spirit" type healer, he drops a step as a healer. Because the amount of healing magic healing basically depends on the "spirit" parameter.

It is only after moving to a secondary position that the "beating healer" will be able to play a glorious role. If you can transfer, you can become a secondary position with strong skills that combine recovery and attack.

However, there is no recognised transfer to a secondary position in this world.

Master Alexia has been transferred to Sage, a secondary position of magician who will be the magician of this world. I mean, the inhabitants of this world should be able to move to secondary jobs, too.

Still, even the diligent Alexia did not know the system of transfer itself. At least I guess the average person doesn't know about the transfer or the secondary position.

Besides, it is unlikely that the average soldier in this world has reached a transferable level to a secondary position.

Maybe because you don't know a secondary job, these ideas of combat styles aren't born in themselves and are taken as unusual?

But unlike Sage, who lacks the means to attack, "beating healers" should be strong because they have the means to fight together. Well, fighting a beast with your bare hands is a surprise in the real world, and maybe it's a feeling similar to that in another world.

Nevertheless, I wonder how this other world is so similar to 'Another World', which is a game, but it is not known about transfer or secondary jobs and there are subtle differences.

I haven't been able to play a real game, so it's just information via the offensive site, but the transfer or secondary job wasn't something the players stumbled upon, and they heard directly from NPC (Enupysy) to gather information.

In other words, if you are in a different world based on a game, it is too unnatural for the inhabitants of this world to know information about a new job or a secondary job, even though it is commonly known in games.

If, on the contrary, you created a game based on this other world, how did you examine information that is not known to the public in this world?

No way, a world that just so happens to be similar doesn't matter at all?

It just wouldn't be possible. It is not possible to ignore similarities such as the same quest as the game's quest information, country names, and so on.

Discussing the similarities between the game and the other world and the differences between them raises troubling questions.

"Kaios, are you listening to me?

Apparently he was trapped in a vortex of thought. Roslyne frowns with a slightly louder voice.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I was thinking a little bit."

"Ah, okay. That's right, Kaios. The representative of the Kingdom of Castal wants to see you, but what are you going to do?

"What?"

What is that? It's my first ear.

"Apparently he wants to talk to you about me, the evil god."

"With that said, the Havoks said it, too. The teacher said he was also active in the Kingdom of Castal."

The main thing I'd like to talk to you about is my involvement in the Kingdom of Kastal and my defeat of Elder Trent, the boss. I know because I heard from the Havoks that the Kingdom of Kastal was looking for me.

"Seemed pretty intent on meeting with Kaios. If you refuse, you won't return home until you see him."

"Isn't that virtually a choice?"

There's no way I can say no to this.

"Well, don't worry. I plan on attending the meeting."

"Wow, that's comforting"

"You don't have feelings."

I returned it with a bar reading, but less anxious than seeing him alone. I don't know what they intend to see, so I don't know what's behind the story. If Roslene is going to be present, she's still going to follow me. I hope it doesn't get weird.

It was to meet with representatives of the Kingdom of Castal face to face.

When I entered the guest room, a knight was there. Apparently, he's the representative. He's more of a serious type of person than a strong one. I feel a sense of vision in the representative's face. Like I've seen this guy somewhere before.

After looking at the person's face for a while, I remembered unexpectedly. He was commanding a bunch of knights when he was fighting Elder Trent in the Kingdom of Castall!

"Her Majesty Queen Roslyne. Thank you for taking this opportunity to meet with him."

"Never mind. Because the Kingdom of Kastal received support in the fight against vampires. It's not going to be a lot of work to this extent."

That's how the Knights took me seriously.

"I still had some anxiety just looking at it from a distance, but it was still you. Long time no see. Do you remember me?"

"Uh, yes. It's been a while."

Well, if you nominated me, it makes sense that someone who knows who I am will be elected to represent me.

"Hmm, then we talk fast. Oh, I'm sorry. I know your name, but don't you know mine? You couldn't just name the situation then. My name is Rafael Lilburn. He is the commander in this vampire crusade and the oak crusade. Our army fell prey to the ambush of Elder Trent, the servant of the Evil God, in the crusade of Orcs. But thanks to you crusading Elder Trent, the damage was prevented from spreading. I couldn't tell you because you disappeared immediately, but I want you to thank me as the commander who led the soldiers at that time. Lord Kaios, my men were saved by your work. Thanks."

Mr. Rafael lowering his head softly.

"I also heard about Kaios working in the Custom, but what was Kaios doing?

"It is an activity that should already be called hero, Your Majesty. When I heard him talk about awarding the Medal of Heroes here in the Union of the Communes, I didn't even suspect that he would be well qualified if he saved us. Not long ago, Elder Trent, a servant of the Evil God, used a herd of orcs to attack our country's territory. The Royal Army was trying to crusade that oak, but it fell into the cunning trap of Elder Trent behind it and the army fell into a predicament. He saved it."

I remember there was a ton of orcs, but was there such a thing behind it? I chose a route from the map to avoid the oak and just wanted to see how strong Elder Trent, the boss, was.

"He was brave. Elder Trent beat me to death and destroyed it. Orcs and family members who lost Elder Trent were taken over without control, and we were able to restore peace. I almost lost my life in Elder Trent, too. He helped me. He was looking for him because he disappeared as he was when he defeated Elder Trent, but I had no idea he was in the Commune and involved in the fight against vampires."

When Mr. Rafael was grabbing on to Elder Trent, those around him thought it was a bunch of players who thought exactly like me, so I didn't even know it was such a dangerous state as dew.

I joined them because they were looking for help, but at first I wasn't willing to lay my hands on them to avoid being beaten up like they were stealing their prey from them. Perhaps Mr. Rafael would not have joined us if he had died without a request for rescue.

So it seems greatly overrated and badly uncomfortable.

"I know how it works in the Commune, so I thought it would surprise me as long as it wasn't as much, but I can't help but be surprised to hear you talk about it"

I can't forbid surprises, either, in a vector apart from Roslyne.

As a result of coincidences overlapping, but I'm glad I joined. If the army of the Kingdom of Castall had lost by not helping them, there would have been a good number of orcs, so bad luck might have caused considerable damage to the inhabitants living in the territory of the Kingdom of Castall.

I guess Mr. Rafael's overestimation included those aspects, but no matter how many reasons were found, the emotional aspect could not be caught up.

"But you're not at peace with me, the evil god. Does that mean the evil god is back again?"

"The Kingdom is doing its utmost to investigate that, but unfortunately we have not grasped anything yet. It's just that a bunch of demons have invaded the Vixel Empire, not just our country, and one of these vampires. They are all certainly unparalleled behaviors in previous demonic trends. I wondered if it was unreasonable that there were so many variations everywhere at the same time and there was no connection whatsoever to them. And Elder Trent was also sealed in person, he said. If it is true, it means that there is an existence that has been unsealed. I don't know if that's the evil god, but it's not weird to have something behind you that pulls the thread."

Is it something that pulls the thread behind it? If a series of incidents is connected, it is not strange to have such a person. But what is it? I felt uncomfortable.

"The vampire girl, who seems to be the mastermind in the vampire uproar, has yet to be located in the end. Maybe the girl is behind it."

"Are you a vampire girl? Find it here as well. He may still be lurking somewhere. Or maybe he's fleeing to another country. But if it is itself the culprit, is it still trying to destroy the human country? I'm glad we didn't prevent them all."

Right. There was damage, but none of it went as far as the worst. I guess I stayed too long because I was lucky. It was really just a matter of vampires. Had the Kingdom of Castal been fanned by vampires as well as the Weixel Empire, there would have been more damage.

Oh, well. Is that what you mean?

"What is it, Kaios?

"No, I wondered, if the girl was pulling the thread, how could she not attack me at the same time?"

"At the same time?"

Don't you see what that means? You two have an obscure look on your face.

"Wouldn't it have been more damaging if, for example, the demons that attacked the Kingdom of Castall and the Weixel Empire had attacked the same country in tandem? If someone was pulling a thread and was trying to destroy the country, I was wondering if it would be more certain to concentrate on operating it. How could you have dispersed your power without thinking about it? Even if we can't do that, if we attack countries at the same time, I think we'll have a much longer fight."

They were very good at what I said.

"Isn't that because you decided that demons could drop the country? In that case, the demons will know the country's important secrets."

"It seems that Elder Trent was rooting deep into the ground and exploring information on the Kingdom of Castal. If vampires were lurking in people, it wouldn't be difficult, if not impossible, to get information."

"Besides, we've set up a ploy against the Weixel Empire to get humans to compete with each other. Aren't we at least cooperating?"

Oh, well. That's just impossible to think about. I can't help but feel better that someone is pulling the thread.

Mr. Rafael came up with an arm.

"Maybe there's something wrong with the demonic order system."

"Order system?

"The military, plainly put, gives orders. Like the relationship between the head and the hands and feet that move as ordered, the commander thinks of the operation and tells and executes it to the soldiers. In order to facilitate this, class, that is, clear upward and downward relationships, need to be determined. Because it is impossible to act as a group when thoughtfully moved. Families of demons must also have a clear upward and downward relationship, so to speak. But it is only against its own Lord. I wonder if each of the Lord's demons is homogeneous and has no distinct rank? There may be some cooperation, but I wonder if the actions themselves are left to their own discretion. In the first place, if demons behave in a homogeneous herd, the very fact that they can act militarily collectively is heterogeneous."

"So maybe the demon isn't a single rock."

"That's right. If this hypothesis is correct, it is in the interest of mankind. It would be more likely if the demonic forces were not concentrated as before, and if the three kingdoms could fight together like this one."

I don't know if we can always maintain the struggle between the three countries, but if we can fight together, that would be most desirable. Even there was a situation where humans had to fight each other. I've never been able to cooperate.

"Didn't you know that I previously sent a parent book from my country to your country regarding the signing of a military alliance against demons in the three countries?

"No, unfortunately. Perhaps vampires have crushed the alliance."

"That said, you haven't responded yet. I didn't think vampires were replacing kings in those days. I was somewhat puzzled that the king was passive in concluding the alliance, but maybe the vampires didn't want the three countries to form an alliance. We need to move forward with the Alliance."

If the comune, which was devastated by human resources, can be allied, it can relieve defence anxiety. Fighting between people is a trick, and I wish we could work with each other, but that's for them to decide.

Nevertheless, when I heard from Mr. Rafael again, I thought, I feel like there's a big incident going on where I'm going. Does that happen?

"What I don't even wish for as this one if you can agree on an alliance. Once again, let us send a messenger of negotiation over our country. That's a lot of talk. Let's return to this requirement. Lord Kaios, the Kingdom of Kastal wishes to return the favor it has received from you. I want to invite you to my country."

Hmm, like I've heard of this somewhere. No way.

"Does the Kingdom of Kastal want to recruit Kaios as the country's magic guide?"

"I don't know that either, Your Majesty. As far as I'm concerned, I'm in favor of inviting him, but what His Majesty the King wants is a dialogue with Lord Caios. Probably including giving him a prize for crusading Elder Trent, but I can't be sure he won't talk about it on the spot."

What the hell are you talking about? I don't know what your intentions are, but if you're going to go, you better be careful.

"I also plan to return home soon, and I would be grateful if Lord Kaios could accompany me like this, but that's just a steep story."

I shook my head vertically.

"Let's just say I know where you are now. Am I still in this Clermont for a while?

"We may go to the northwest of the Commune, so we can't be sure."

I was reminded to use my promise to Alexia as an excuse, but I felt like running away if I could.

"Well, I'll tell the king the story, too. I want you to visit me once. My country will always welcome you."

Apparently you don't want to miss it. Oh, what am I really going to do? My stomach is about to bring about when I think about the future.

"Slightly, isn't it Her Majesty Queen Roslyne there?

At the end of his conversation with Mr. Rafael, when he returned to the separate room, he was called from behind him and looked back at who he might be, and there was an example of Mr. Oliver.

"This is Lord Oliver. So what happened?

"No, I was taking you to church to offer your daily prayers to God. That's the Diocese of Clermont. It's different from the Kingdom of Kastal."

I once visited a church in the town of Vixel, but the church in this world is worth a look. I would love to visit for that, but it might be a big commotion, so I guess I should still pull it off to the Royal Palace.

"Oh, he is. Isn't that Mr. Kaios?

"Yes, it is."

"Did you still! No, I wanted to meet and talk to you once as being awarded the same hero medal. My name is Oliver. I've heard of Mr. Cairos."

Mr. Oliver grins. I couldn't tell if it was just a social dictionary.

"I'd like to talk slowly, but I still have business after this. Unfortunately, we'll talk again later slowly!

That said, Mr. Oliver left as he was. That guy, I wonder if he's going to come back to see me. I'll be in Clermont in a few days because I'm going northwest Commune. Do you know Mr. Oliver?

That was my concern. Because Mr. Oliver is going with us to Northwest Commune.

Northwest Commune. This is the area where the vampires who attacked the Commune were most devastated because they ravaged it at will.

"The residents seem more rational than I thought."

Liam squeaks. I thought it might be a little more slaughter because of the vampire damage and the grudge against the Commune, but that didn't happen.

"Because it's been quite a while since we've been free of vampires, and most importantly, it seems to give priority to reconstruction. I'm not just not thinking about anything extra."

Nell said. Liam and the others are all with me. They are my escorts hired by Roslyne.

But as I was hearing, I seem to feel resentment and anger at the Commune and, more precisely, the nastiness of how the Weixel Empire is supporting reconstruction, but the army of the Commune isn't here.

This town was also devastated. Houses and walls are in the process of being broken and repaired, and many workers are injured in bandages. And a lot of people still fell asleep.

When I went into the break after helping rebuild, I saw someone familiar, so I chased after him.

"Uncle, will my leg heal?

A boy with an injured leg asks anxiously while lying on the bed.

"Of course you are! Let the elementary school students guarantee it! Your legs can heal properly and you can run around!

The boy's head. So Mr. Oliver goes into therapy. The wounds heal little by little when the gentle illuminating light hits the boy's feet.

The boy had the look of putting up with the tickle and the wound was already blocked when the light eventually stopped. The boy suddenly had several injuries and tried to get up slowly when he made sure the pain was gone.

Mr. Oliver supports that. The boy roughly stood up. A boy with twitches and tears.

"Thank you, uncle!

Mr. Oliver responds with a smile.

Mr. Oliver also has a great ability to recover magic. I thought it was a healer specializing in "power", but it seems different.

He looked exactly like a clergyman reaching out to a child who couldn't move with his leg injured.

"Oh, Mr. Kaios. It's a strange place to be."

"No, I'm just here to check on you because I got a little break."

We've spoken several times on the road and we don't feel comfortable talking to each other. He's quite an older man, but he's a warm man, and he's a good person.

"I see. Then I guess the elementary school students will take a little break."

Saying so, Mr. Oliver stepped away from the patients.

"I came to this land when the church asked for backup, but there are a lot of people here who really need to be saved."

Mr. Oliver with a bitter look. They say the damage to the church that was operating in the northwest of the Commune is enormous, and church officials are also dead. So he hastened to support him. Apparently there are numerous other magicians who have been requested by the Church, and they are traveling around the place.

It will also take time to rebuild all the towns and villages damaged. The Weixel Empire is also doing its best, but it really gives priority to the most populous towns and villages. It's still going to take some time for support supplies to reach the entire northwest of the Commune.

And the treatment isn't enough either. The game says that if you continue to recover, your HP (hit point) will be full and there will be no problem, but some people will have to continue to be treated depending on the extent of the injury. There are only a few things I can do alone. I'm guessing that helplessness is causing Mr. Oliver to have trouble with his chest.

"He's a hero. I don't know what he said, but maybe the elementary school kids were jerking off. When it comes to what elementary school students can actually do, they can only help a handful of people."

"But some people have been saved. They were saved by Mr. Oliver, nobody else."

Even after visiting this village, Mr. Oliver has healed the wounds of numerous people. Those who had been in pain and couldn't sleep are now asleep peacefully. The same goes for the kid just now. Because if it wasn't for him, I would still have had to stand for the injury to heal on the bed.

It doesn't matter if you're a hero or not to help them like that. I needed Oliver to heal and save my wounds.

That's why I didn't have to be unnecessarily humiliated.

"Yes, I hope so. You shouldn't. Something that would also be a magician, such as making weak noises in front of people who have to be saved. There still seems to be not enough training to say there are mountains of things to do. Keep this in Mr. Kaios' mind."

Mr. Oliver behaved just a little brighter and showed it.

"So, is Mr. Caios doing better?

"I'm just helping Alexia carry her escorts and support supplies, so it's going well."

"Master Alexia's popularity is amazing. I've seen you a few times, but no one has ever had that much popular support."

Master Alexia is traveling around town to comfort him. Alexia-sama's popularity here is even worse. Among the Vixel Imperial Army, which freed me from vampires, I am well known, and even if not, a pretty girl comes to my comfort. It is an atmosphere of enthusiastic fans who are excited with the center of their stuffing idols.

Well, yeah. Master Alexia is so cute. Even I must get up when I'm in their shoes. I know what it's like to be spoken to by her and deluded by men, but I think I'm going to get jealous.

As opposed to Master Alexia, they don't pay attention to me. Instead, when I am escorting Alexia, I always get the glance of jealousy from a young man. Well, it bothers me when people say which one was better to treat with Clermont.

But the only time I'm beside Master Alexia is when my hands are free. Usually the transport of support supplies is the main one. I don't get tired at times like this. I can count on this body.

"And since the support supplies are going to the people, we were all grateful to the soldiers of the Weixel Empire. That must have been Mr. Cairos."

I received support supplies in a town located in the centre of northwest Commune and transported it to this town.

After all, when it comes to transporting relief supplies to one town, it will carry a considerable amount. Besides, we don't just bring support supplies to town, we have to distribute this efficiently to the residents. This is going to be a pretty heavy labor. I didn't know how many days it would take.

That's where the inventory worked. Since the quantity limit and weight limit can basically be carried in any size even if it is an item, a large quantity of support materials, such as crates, can also be stored and transported in the inventory.

As soon as I stored the support supplies in the inventory, the people who were carrying the support materials were circling their eyes, but if they deluded me that it was a magical application, they were strangely convinced that it was just a magical developed country. There are going to be some weird rumors about the Vixel Empire, but I decided to turn away with all my might, prioritizing delivering support supplies.

I believe that is why I am able to be quite active in transporting support materials. I felt that it was more comfortable to be immediately appreciated by people by carrying out support supplies than to be entertained with heroes for actions I had taken without my knowledge.

That's why there's so much activity here.

"Time to get back to work."

"Right, let's do our best with each other!

When we were about to end our breaks with each other, we noticed that it was getting noisy outside.

"Oh, what's wrong?

As Mr. Oliver opened his neck and cleared his ears, a rushed voice heard from the outside struck him in the ear.

"There's a demon in here!

Demon ⁉ Such an idiot.

No, the walls of this town are under restoration and some of them remain collapsed and can be easily broken in. No way, did you break in from there?

"Mr. Kaios!

Me and Mr. Oliver ran in the direction of the voice.

A wolf-shaped demon is attacking a person as he moves against the waves of people fleeing. Is it only one demon but it is a detached demon?

"'Chainbound'!

Tie the attacking wolf up with a magic chain. That alone stops the movement. But it won't be a fundamental solution if we don't defeat the wolf that struck us. There were no Havoks or any other soldiers on this occasion.

Do I have to do this? Match the wand to the wolf. When it comes to magic that can attack demons, it's only about a low-powered 'mana bolt'. That's better than not doing it.

But someone who was here before I attacked him attacked him.

"It's brilliant, Mr. Caios. I'll take care of the rest!

Mr. Oliver takes off his clothes. The exposed flesh was not in luxury, and the muscles were buoyant. Was it all the muscles that looked thick?

The warm expression I had shown earlier was not sharp, but with an angry look on his chest and an intake of air, he rushed to the demon.

Poking the demon up into the air at the bottom of his palm, he beats it with a series of breathless beatings. As I was told, Mr. Oliver must be an excellent beating magician, proximity fighter.

But that skill...

After floating the demon into space as it was in a row, Mr. Oliver jumps up and joins his hands. As his hands began to glow red, he shook them down like hammers.

Demons slapped down on the ground do not move in silence. The HP (hit point) gauge is also bright red. If that move is the same skill I remember, then clearly, overkill is a good place for the Miscellaneous Fish Demon.

"Hmm, are you hurt?

The person who was attacked by the demon was surprised by Mr. Oliver's ghostly shape and had no words, but apparently he was not injured. That was above all.

But I was stunned in a different way.

"Are you safe, Doctor? ⁉"

"Kaios, are you all right? ⁉"

Master Alexia and Mr. Irene rushed over.

"Yeah, I'm fine."

"Good. I was worried that something had happened because you didn't have a superior complexion."

"Maybe you were stunned because this is the first time you've seen how Oliver fought?

Mr. Irene, that's not true. What surprises me is something else.

That move Mr. Oliver used. Isn't that one of the skills of "Monk", which I've never seen before but is a secondary position?

"Monk" - that profession, which is a secondary position for healers, is the point of arrival for "beating healers", a profession in which recovery can also be used as the main subject of melee fighting.

I have to move beyond being a secondary position and I cannot naturally remember that skill without a transfer.

There's no way a healer would remember.

"I mean, is Mr. Oliver a 'monk'?

If Mr. Oliver is a "monk," a secondary position, he can also play an active role in the fight against vampires, and I can convince him why he just gets a hero's medal.

Because in this world, where the conditions for transfer are level 50 or higher and the level of soldiers in general is 10 to 20, we pride ourselves on the strength of breaking. In the first place, we should have questioned the possibility that the other person was Level 50 or above and was in a secondary position at a time such as Alexia's qualification.

But why?

Weren't the inhabitants of this world supposed to not know about the transfer?

Perhaps certain people would know just because they are not generally known?

Or can you change careers even if you don't have enough levels unlike games in this world? Or can secondary skills be used even in primary positions?

But all the people I've partied with so far don't remember their secondary skills. So how did you learn that skill?

Even residents of this world can change jobs. But if the transfer is not known, how did you know that?

You have to know it's a game to know that. So does Mr. Oliver mean a player, not a resident of another world?

Various questions run through my head. At the same time, Mr. Oliver's statue, which I thought was a good person until now, turns into something uncertain.

Mr. Oliver, who the hell are you?
