The three sects of Eastern Dao, Chan, and Jie, plus one sect from the West, are equivalent to four people divided into five emperors. There will always be someone who divides more. Several heavenly saints all want to be the ones who benefit the most, so Yuan Shi Fang had this discussion.

"One religion in the West has two saints, so it should have the name of two imperial masters." As soon as Yuanshi finished speaking, Zhunti couldn't wait to suggest. The meaning of the (long) (wind) in his words was not unreasonable at first hearing.

However, before Laozi and Yuanshi could say more, Tongtian retorted: "The position of emperor and master should be determined by the great religion. What does it have to do with the number of saints? If the words of the Taoist friends are mentioned accurately, the two Taoist friends Nuwa and Houtu , should they also be involved?”

It should be noted that despite the previous battle to unify the human race, the relationship between the human and witch clans is still very close, and they are not too distant. . At this time, Lao Tzu said again: "Our Taoism only has one disciple in Xuandu. It only needs one emperor. As for the other four emperors, the Taoist priests and Taoists will not interfere, leaving it to all the fellow Taoists to decide."

This made the other four saints very happy for a while. Originally, I had the title of senior brother, and might be able to occupy an extra emperor, but unexpectedly, he quit first, which was a bit surprising.

However, if you think about it carefully, you can understand what Lao Tzu is thinking. The saint cannot bow down to be the teacher of the Five Emperors, so he has to pass it on to his disciples. However, there is only one person in Taoism, Xuandu, how can he be the teacher of two emperors?

Even if the five emperors of the human race are inferior to the three emperors, they cannot worship the same master together, otherwise they will lose face and the gain will not be worth the loss.

Regarding Laozi's proposal, Tongtian and others may regard it as inaction in their hearts. They are well aware of the origin of his nature, but they will not judge it so easily. You must know that Laozi seems to be inaction, but in fact he does everything. His calculations are so deep that most of them are not for others. aware.

Only after Yuanshi thought about it carefully did he realize that Lao Tzu withdrew first because he was suspected of provoking a fight among others. As for the two sides fighting, it might be the Chan and Jie religions, the Chan and Western religions, or the Jie and Western religions.

But no matter what, as long as other religions compete with each other, I can reap the benefits. As the first disciple of Hongjun and the senior brother of all the saints, the one I fear most in my heart is the other three or two religions. Once this happens, Taoism, which has the smallest number of people, is likely to lose its authority.

All of Lao Tzu's calculations before came from this. Only when other major religions have conflicts and grudges can Lao Tzu and Taoism sit on the high platform and watch or mediate other people's disputes to make profits.

This is similar to the behavior of emperors in ancient China. Smart superiors always prevent their subordinates from getting together. For this reason, they do not hesitate to re-appoint corrupt officials. Only when the subordinates have disputes does the emperor show his importance.

After realizing Lao Tzu's plan, Yuan Shi was a little cruel and agreed: "Although the Chan Sect created by Pindao has the name of a great sect, its disciples are extremely rare. Therefore, it is enough for one emperor to live alone. As for the remaining three emperors, Junior brother can discuss things with the two Taoist friends from the West."

Although the number of Chanjiao is larger than that of Taoism, it is not much more. The total number of disciples and boys is less than twenty, which is far more than that of Jiejiao and Western sect.

After becoming a saint, the two saints in the West struggled for a long time before they obtained a large formation, called the Bodhi Lotus Formation, to gather the power of the two saints. , should be able to rival Tongtian one or two.
