Throne Of Time

Chapter 60 - 59 - Hero License

The days went by quickly. In this way, the two weeks that separated the U.A. students from the sports festival passed quickly without any problem.

The sports festival is something spectacular and at the same time unmissable thing, a golden opportunity, for this reason, they cannot afford to miss this exceptional event.

This event is why the students worked hard every day for two weeks, training tirelessly without interruption. Perhaps some students trained more, while others trained less, but this does not affect the importance of each student's hearts.

Of all the classes in the entire institution, perhaps the hardest-working one is the 1-A. The other classes have also worked hard, reaching limits they have never reached before, yet, even though 1-B, 1-C, and other classes have trained so hard, they have not beaten 1-A.

What Bakugo said when the other classes "attacked" the 1-A made every single student understand the importance of this event, and who they really are, what objective they want to reach. The point is that they never expected to follow something that Bakugo himself said.

If the students are excited about this event, so are the heroes. After all, this is also a golden opportunity for them. They have the opportunity to choose the best students as trainees in their own company.

If every student and hero is in a rush of happiness and excitement, someone is happy in another way.

Kurumi has nothing to do during this event. The only thing she can do is watch the "show."

After all, she is not allowed to participate as a student since she is a teacher, but at the same time, she is not allowed as a hero, which is contradictory. This kind of situation doesn't give Kurumi any problems. After all, the thing she wants to do less is to bring attention to herself.

Kurumi wouldn't even expect to be called a "complete hero," after all, her situation is strange.

At least that's what Kurumi thought.

"Tokisaki-sensei, I want you to choose, like any other hero, some students to teach."

"Sorry, could you repeat?"

Kurumi was "shocked" at those words of the rodent. Her red-eye, the only visible one, has widened, raising the eyelid with it. This demonstrated Kurumi's emotional state. In fact, she never expected Nezu himself to have said these words.

"I don't think it's appropriate ..." Kurumi said, shaking her head as Nezu was looking at Kurumi with a smile.

Sometimes what the rodent thinks is something foreign to Kurumi. Some of Nezu's ideas are really unpredictable, they can be correct or even incorrect, but if there is one thing that "disturbs" Kurumi, it is the frightening way of thinking of Nezu.

Nezu seems not to have heard what Kurumi said. With a smile, he said, "You heard right, Tokisaki-sensei! Since you are a teacher of this school, you also need the distinctive sign of a hero, the license!"

After that, Nezu pulled a card made entirely of plastic from under the desk and then placed it on the table, pushing it towards Kurumi.

"This is your license. Since I didn't have any information about the hero title you wanted, I took the liberty of giving you one. I hope you don't mind."

Kurumi did not respond to what Nezu said. She thought about it for a few seconds and then, cautiously, took the license placed by Nezu on the desk in front of her.

Once taken, Kurumi looked at all of the information above.

Hero activity permit license followed by all information such as name, address, date of birth. The thing that left Kurumi slightly stunned, however, is the hero title Nezu just mentioned.

'Crimson Time,' Kurumi thought.

She has nothing to say about this title since she has no interest in owning hero titles. What "stunned" her is that Nezu saw the true "nature" of her Quirk.

This is something she would have expected to see sooner or later. After all, all the signs of her "Quirk" lead to the control of time.

Without showing expressions on her face regarding the situation, Kurumi nodded to Nezu.

At the same time, however, Kurumi fails to understand what Nezu wants to do by handing her this hero license. Every idea of this rodent seems to have a specific goal.

Nezu, seeing that Kurumi has taken the license, nodded. After about a second, he opened his mouth again, "One more thing Tokisaki-sensei ..."

Only that he didn't continue, his expression became "difficult," as if what he was about to say remained in his throat. Making a cough as if to hide something, Nezu shook his head.

"Sorry for the trouble, it's nothing ..."

Kurumi did not elaborate on the matter; after excusing herself, she left the office with the license.

"Kurumi!"

As soon as she left the office, the first thing she heard was a very familiar voice. For this reason, looking with her eyes in that direction, she observed the blond-haired muscular figure.

"Toshinori"

"So what did the principal want?" All Might asked with a big smile.

Kurumi was silent for a full second before replying, "... I received the license for heroic activities."

Hearing Kurumi, All Might was a bit shocked, same as Kurumi before. It's a bizarre thing to hand over a license for heroic activities so out of the blue.

Although Kurumi's character from what he has understood so far is all right, All Might fails to understand the principal's gesture. But since it was never his strong point to think about things, he shrugged, leaving behind this.

"It means that you have shown your "courage," and for that reason, the principal Nezu decided to reward you ... even if the prize is quite strange ..."

Immediately after, All Might laughed with his big voice, showing his white teeth.

Only after ten seconds, All Might recovered. He immediately "wiped" the tears from his eyes, then said, "So, are you ready for tomorrow's sports festival?"

"About this, there is another thing Nezu told me, and that is the fact that, as a professional hero now, as soon as the festival ends, I have the task to try to recruit some students from U.A. as trainees."

All Might made a small exclamation to what Kurumi said, "I wanted to take you as a trainee myself so that I could teach you everything there was to know about the hero profession, but I see that the principal preceded me."

"Do you already have in mind who to take from class 1-A or the other classes?" All Might asked in a curious tone of voice.

Kurumi shook her head. She hasn't thought about it in the slightest, not to mention that she doesn't think anyone will choose her over the other famous heroes; she is unlikely to be chosen, of that she is sure.

Moreover, not even five minutes have passed since the discussion with Nezu. It is impossible to think about it immediately. After all, what she had in mind in these few minutes was something else.

In fact, Kurumi believes she finally understood Nezu's motivation to hand her this license.

It's not even as complex as she thought it would be. It only took her a few seconds to arrive at the possible answer.

What is it that heroes do when a situation calls for it? Help the population in emergencies. This is what Nezu wants from Kurumi, to understand how Kurumi behaves in the face of these likely situations, to understand Kurumi's "true" character.

Each situation brings to light the hidden side of each person. It is possible to arrive at a kidnapping case with possible torture. In these cases, the mind of the "hero" is subjected to pressure that leads the person to reveal their hidden character.

Kurumi smiled thinking about this, that mouse is really "cute," it's cute as he tries in every way to arrive at a solution, a solution to understand who she really is.

Kurumi has to admit, he is probably the first person who tries in every possible way to understand who she really is.

All Might seems to have mistaken that smile on Kurumi's mouth for something else.. Precisely for this reason, he said, "You're right; it's hard to know who to try to recruit. Every single student is exceptional!"
