Throne Of Time

Chapter 66 - 65 - Games and Mission

Every student looked at that game in that big font projected on the screen.

Everyone had different reactions, but one thing in common is that they were confused.

They understood from the last game that this school would never organize simple games, and this can't be a simple King Of The Hill. If not, this would not be U.A. High School.

Midnight looking at those confused expressions, smiled lightly, "I see you are confused. For this reason, let me tell you how this game will carry out!"

"As many of you probably guessed, this will not be a simple King Of The Hill game. It would be boring otherwise, am I right?" said Midnight with a strange gaze, while ŀɨċkɨnġ her lips at the end.

Students realized now why she is called an R-Rated hero apart from that outfit.

"In this game, you need to form teams. Each team will have specific points given by the previous maze results. After creating the teams, everyone will need to conquer the Hill as the King for ten minutes straight!"

"The difficulty in this game, I think everyone knows what it is," said Midnight while slowly passing her gaze over every student.

Yes, they realized what a game like King Of The Hill means. Especially with that time needed to conquer the Hill.

Ten minutes for them, it's a low amount, too low, no matter what, everyone can make a difference in less than a minute using their Quirks.

A student could not help but raise his hand, asking Midnight, "What are the use of points then?"

Midnight looked at that student, and pointing towards him, smiled, "Good question! Points in a game like this are generally useless, but not here! In this game, there is a second way to win, and that is to defeat the teams and to take the points of every single member person who you defeated."

"The points for this game are... these!"

The screen behind Midnight changed, and now it showed a list of 42 people and their respective points, with the 1st being a massive amount of... ten million points!

Iida, hearing that he was worth ten million points, froze in the place with a high back. If that were the case, he would have given the first place to Midoriya. Ten million points are just a way to target other people!

"So... let's not use any more time, how about it?" smiled Midnight.

The game was standard. Kurumi thought, looking at it. It was amusing to see Iida getting targeted by everyone while specific teams tried to conquer the Hill as the King.

Even if it was a normal thing for her, it was a beautiful and exciting experience. Every single time something happened, a lot of people exclaimed.

The final winners of this Sports Festival game were the team captained by Tenya Iida.

No one expected this combination to win this game. It was an unexpected victory made possible by the perfect use of the members' Quirks. Everyone in that team worked together to reach success. The members inside this team from 1-A did not expect Todoroki to collaborate like this.

In the end, every person that formed each team were selected randomly in a challenge against each other.

Every single challenge was exciting, but Kurumi wasn't there to be able to see them.

Her clone contacted her because of the League of Villains because it seems "she" got ȧssigned a mission, and it's not an easy mission.

There are only two possible things for this situation: the first, they want to eliminate "her," while the second one is they want to fully try her loyalty.

No matter what, both of these options are funny.

Kurumi leaving the stadium with a smile, looked at those high skyscrapers and houses around.

. . .

"Those students... those damned students!" Said Tomura Shigaraki while watching the television, where it was projected the Sports Festival.

"I hate it, I hate it, I hate it!" he screamed hysterically. His eyes were bloodshot. Together with it, his mind was in confusion too.

His teacher clearly said a blow like that attack at the USJ should have made the heroes cower before possible attacks. He did not expect the heroes to not follow his most trusted person's words.

They openly made this new tournament.

"Should we turn-off television?" Asked a feminine figure made entirely of what seemed to be shadows, in a joking tone of voice, while it seems she looked at Tomura Shigaraki behaving in such a childish way.

Followed by this voice, another one, more manly and professional, came, "Leave him like that. He needs to vent his dėsɨrė and to deepen his hate for this society."

The one that spoke just now is Kurogiri. He was cleaning a glass with a cloth.

"Another thing, Nightmare," the same voice of Kurogiri came again, this time his yellow eyes looked at the clone of Kurumi.

"Sensei sent me a mission for you to perform. It's effortless from what he said. You can find every piece of information in this folder," continued Kurogiri, this time, he moved a folder towards Kurumi's clone on top of the counter.

Kurumi's clone waited for a second before picking up slowly the folder given to her by Kurogiri.

"Consider it done," Kurumi's clone replied to Kurogiri in a positive tone of voice, to which Kurogiri nodded.

"Don't let us down, Nightmare. Don't let down, especially Sensei!"
