Throne Of Time

Chapter 80 - 79 - League of Villains Reaction

Going back up some days, when the attack on Hosu City fell apart.

Tomura Shigaraki, when he got teleported, he found himself in front of a person, the same who gave him the courage to continue, the same person that he sees as a father.

"Sensei!" exclaimed Tomura seeing that person.

The man's face seems to be made entirely of scar tissue, resulting in more than three-quarters of his face being absent of parts, no eyes, no nose, no ears, with the only things that manage to let him live seem to be the various tubes connected to his body.

"Tomura..." the man said in a low tone of voice, looking at his successor in such a state.

He would have never imagined that even after all those teachings he gave and instructed Kurogiri to give, Tomura still has rage problems.

"You still gave in to your rage."

An exceptionally calm voice that did not seem to reflect that look, yet the words he said immediately put massive pressure on Tomura. If there is someone he has fear but respect at the same time, then it's only this person.

The man had no eyes, but Tomura seemed to feel an extremely penetrating gaze upon himself, upon his whole body, making him lower his head full of sweat.

The stomach part was still a red stain, slowly becoming larger and larger, showing that the wound reported in the "fight" against Kurumi was not so shallow.

Silence has fallen between the two. The only things that could be heard were the various machines giving oxygen and other necessary nutrients.

Each second seemed an eternity for Tomura, that gaze that seemed to go deep into his body, probably even his soul.

"You still have a lorn to learn, Tomura..." replied the man calmly. After saying this, the man pressed a buŧŧon and said afterward, "Come and take Tomura. He needs healing."

. . .

"Damn it," said Tomura gritting his teeth, he would have never expected this result.

"Why he had to take all the attention to himself, where is the League of Villains in this! Where is the part where everyone fears our League of Villains!"

Tomura, immediately after, using his Quirk, disintegrated the newspaper making it into a fine dust.

"Why so serious ~," a calm and joking voice, totally different from Tomura, came to his ears, not only his but also in the ears of Kurogiri.

"Nightmare, watch your words! I don't know why you were there, and I don't want to pry into this, just shut your damn mouth!" Tomura replied in a harsh tone of voice, looking with a hazardous glare towards the female figure made of shadows.

"Fu, fu, but you don't want something that will bring attention to the League of Villains?"

Seeing that Tomura was behaving like a child, the clone had to put a "candy" in front to make this child shut up. She doesn't have something like that, but her original does, and Kurumi sent it to her. A recording, a simple recording, but that will change the society.

The clone listened to this recording, and she must say, it's perfect. No one would ever expect that Kurumi Tokisaki would spread a recording like this.

Tomura, hearing this, immediately focused on the clone so as to say, "Go on, I'm all ears."

What the clone said made him intrigued, and not a little. He wanted to make this attack on Hosu City to make famous the League of Villains, let the fame skyrocket, let the society understand.

The clone, seeing these two gazes upon herself, took out her phone, and pressing play on a recording, she let it play to let those two hear it.

Tomura's expression did not change at all, not even at the end when the recording stopped playing.

"Are you joking with me, Nightmare?"

Tomura's tone of voice was extremely calm, so calm that it was in a way "scary."

He can't understand why Nightmare showed him the recording with Stain's last words, his belief, what he wants to do to this society. He just said that Stain's capture made the society focus on him and not the League of Villains.

Now Nightmare came with another thing about Stain, thus making him in a way mad.

"Don't be in such a hurry ~. Let me explain," the clone replied to that harsh tone of voice of Tomura.

"Stain presence in Hosu City was optimal for our rising, and you know why? Because Stain was "together" with us, in the same moment, at the same place, publishing this recording to the public, villains will be attracted to Stain's ideology. Still, at the same time attracted to us, the League of Villains group were "presumably" Stain belonged."

The clone did not want to leave Tomura on his toes. She doesn't like to be glared at by Tomura. Not to mention that the original told her to give this recording to the League of Villains.

Hearing this from Kurogiri himself, Tomura stayed silent for a few seconds to then walk away with a terrible face, "Do as you want."

Tomura understands with all of himself that what Nightmare wants to do with this audio recording can bring a lot of benefits to the entire League of Villains, not to mention that this whole group is just a task ȧssigned by his sensei, to know if he can command an entire group when he is going down of the stage.

So if he finds him lacking, he can't accept it, not to mention he wants to complete this task at the best of his abilities so as to succeed his sensei.

Yet, he finds it hard to accept someone who rejected the invitation to join his group because he considers their belief unworthy or faulty, which at the sole thought of Stain makes him mad.

The rest of the process wasn't hard. Every single site started circulating the recording, and after a few days, the entire population became immediately restless. New villains that decided to follow Stain's footsteps came out one after another.

Tomura, seeing these results, became extremely satisfied because this meant that what Kurogiri and Nightmare said wasn't false. At the same time, he received praises when the call with his "sensei" connected a day.

Society, though, got immediately a rise in criminality, which alarmed the heroes and the various law enforcement.
