Throne Of Time

Chapter 87 - 86 - I-Island (5)

Held hostage by the leader, Kurumi was carried through the corridors, which had an air full of technology, glowing blue lights filling the corridor ceilings, steel plates reflecting Kurumi form together with the leader's taking her hostage.

From a shiny black, Kurumi's dress was slowly becoming more and more crimson, yet, even though she received that deep wound from the gunshot from before, Kurumi's gaze did not change. She remained with the impassive face, all while being "dragged" between these corridors.

At the same time, no one was talking, and for this very reason, it was not clear what both of them were thinking. If the leader was because he possessed an iron mask that covered his face, then Kurumi was adequately able to hide it using her own skills.

In this silence, Kurumi and the leader finally arrived at the room. The same room where the scientist David Shield and his ȧssistant were sent shortly before.

Still, they weren't the only ones in the room, as the leader would have expected, but he didn't do anything. His ears heard words that made him laugh, but he held back just because he didn't want to ruin this moving scene where father and daughter argue.

Kurumi also heard what was said inside the hall. The hall was circular, filled with safety deposit boxes made of a metal that Kurumi did not seem to recognize. In addition, there was also a control zone where David Shield and his ȧssistant Samuel Abraham were working before they were interrupted by the freckled boy and daughter of the world-renowned professor.

The faces of the two teenagers were speechless; their eyes, their mouths were open, all without anything coming out of them.

They didn't believe what they heard.

The leader seemed to have had enough of that very moving skit.

His leather boots glittered in contact with the light from the hall. A step, a second step, a third step, until he came in with Kurumi always at gunpoint.

"Haha, of course, it was all staged!" the leader exclaimed after he overheard the entire conversation.

His smile widened, and he showed a very pleasing smile.

"... Pretending to be fake bad guys!" he continued after only a second.

"Beautiful work!" congratulated the leader in a proud tone of voice in the direction of Samuel Abraham, "But now as we had established, the briefcase."

David Shield's ȧssistant, hearing those words, did not hesitate to tear the briefcase containing something of extreme importance from the hands of the same person with whom he has worked together for years to then immediately run towards the lone wolf.

The eyes of the scientist with a sturdy build looked like those of a puppy who wanted to be pet and then told him that he did well.

David Shield was left speechless, his Adam's apple trembling up and down, his mouth opened to try to let some oxygen in from the anxiety and agitation he was feeling at the time.

But without anyone being able to react in time, the leader briefly moved the gun from Kurumi's head to point it directly at the ȧssistant's forehead.

His finger slid over the trigger.

A hole in the ȧssistant's forehead appeared, his eyes opened, but he could not say anything that his legs became void of strength, his soulless body fell on the cold steel.

"Sam!" the professor yelled only now that the fact had happened.

His face had turned pale from the vision of that brutal gesture, yet tears did not fall. It was certainly not the time to fall into despair. This is what taught him to be the ȧssistant of All Might all that time.

However, this thing could not be said for his daughter Melissa Shield. The girl, seeing the body of her father's ȧssistant, the same person who saw her grow up until that moment, on the ground without life, made her explode in a thousand emotions of anguish, sadness, insecurity, pain, fear.

Her legs gave out, and her whole body fell forward. Her shoulders were shaking, as were her entire body.

"Sam! No! No! No! No! This isn't true!" the girl said in a trembling voice. She didn't want to believe what had happened in front of her own eyes.

The leader's heart was seen that it was filled with pride in himself.

"Bastard!"

Subsequently, a green beam was seen all over the room, coming to the leader in less than seconds.

Yet, even before he could throw his fist containing all his anger, the green-haired boy immediately had to move with a side jump.

Pillars came to where he was before moving, all with enough power to make a hole in the ground. However, the attack was not over at that moment. Seeing that his attack did not hit, the leader did not change expression. The most absolute calm remained on his face while, with another pillar, he continued with what he had previously failed to do.

This time Izuku Midoriya was not so lucky. Before he knew it, the attack came, hitting the whole body. No, the boy managed to put his hands in front of his body. The boy's action allowed him not to take a direct hit, thus preventing him from going to the ground at the first moment.

However, the boy did not come out unscathed from the attack. His arms swung in front of his body without force. Cold sweat filled the face of Midoriya.

"Not bad!" said the leader, "It is clear that you are a student of that school."

"However, are you sure you want to attack me? Didn't you see who I have next to me?" he continued with a provocative tone of voice and condescending towards the boy.

Only now Izuku Midoriya noticed that next to the leader was Kurumi, with a wound visible to the nȧkėd eye on her side.

"Tokisaki-sensei!" exclaimed the young man. This time his expression became indescribable. Midoriya did not know how to get out of this situation. However, his mind thought and rethought every possible course of action that he could take, all without success.

No matter how he reacted or behaved, the end result would always be the same. A crushing defeat for him.

The leader saw that the boy no longer had the "courage" to come forward. For this reason, he took the briefcase with his free hand, which fell to the ground first from the ȧssistant's hands.

"This demonstration of yours was enjoyable; however, the time for games is over," said the leader.

With a quick flick of the wrist, he aimed his gun at Melissa Shield, still crying on the ground.

"Melissa!" David Shield yelled in a tone of despair.

He could never allow himself to let his daughter die, not after his ȧssistant who stayed with him all those years died so brutally in front of his very eyes.

The friend's corpse is still there on the ground. His eyes were still open, showing the terror he felt at the moment of his death. The hole in his forehead was dripping blood, which turned his face and white shirt red.

David Shield could never forgive himself, not even in death.

At that moment, the scientist felt full of strength, and all the physical strength he trained during his time with All Might seemed to come back to him.

Even though David Shield shielded her body, the blow went straight to his stomach. The scientist's face contorted with pain. He immediately gritted his teeth so as not to let out a groan of pain.

Still, David Shield collapsed to the ground, psychologically and physically exhausted.

A pool of blood was slowly building under his body.

His eyes were constantly trembling. He was putting in the strength to stay awake. He didn't want to pass out, certainly not at this crucial moment.

"Dad!"

"That's enough!" Midoriya yelled. Later, like the first time, it became a meteor, with even more force than before.

"Don't you want to understand? This trick doesn't work against me!" the leader answered. Immediately after speaking, he re-used the same attack he did initially.

A large pillar was unleashed with great fury against the boy, who, without batting an eye, with a movement that seemed to ignore the laws of gravity, dodged and then continued.

Immediately after, however, two pillars came out, but as before, these two were also dodged, and using the kinetic force they had, the boy went even further.

"I got you!" the boy said.

"Eh, you're just a kid after all," the terrorist replied.

Midoriya did not understand the man's words at first, but immediately afterward, he understood it.

Many metal cables were unleashed around the room, tens of which were heading right in his direction. The metallic color was struck by the light from the room, reflecting the ever closer face of the green-haired boy.

Midoriya could look at himself inside them, and before he could react, he felt a stabbing pain on his face and side.

The blow he received took away all the air he had in his lungs. His face turned even paler as his forehead began to bleed, staining his face in his own blood.

His green eyes seemed to light up with anger as he looked at the figure still standing without even a scratch, but the boy had to close his eyes and take a breath of air from the blow received.

One of those metal cables twisted around without Melissa Shield being able to do anything around her father's hɨps. It then dragged him abruptly into the air to put him on the enemy's shoulder.

"Don't worry, David Shield, I will definitely not let you die like this. After all, we need you alive," the leader said, then looked at Kurumi in front of him.

The attitude Kurumi was showing him was really strange. Although he hadn't interacted much with the girl, he understood a couple of things about her, and indeed remaining silent without changing expression is not something in her character.

This made him raise his internal alarm to the maximum. For this very reason, he decided not to waste any more time. Lowering his head, he whispered into Kurumi's ears to move, that they would go to the roof.

Melissa Shield could not help but watch them go, the same as the would-be hero. His wound prevented him from moving. His forehead was also covered in sweat.

However, even though she was still in despair, still in the throes of sadness at a loss, her inability, and her incompetence, Melissa Shield decided to step up and do at least something, hoping to fix this entire situation.

Without anyone blocking him, the "wolf" reached the top. He saw the helicopter prepared for his escape from the beginning in this place.

"Get in," he said in a firm tone of voice, looking at Kurumi. He then abruptly put David Shield's bloody body on the helicopter. If one didn't hear his faint breath, one would think he was dead.

Immediately the helicopter began to gain altitude.

It slowly rose more and more until the helicopter ultimately left the building, ten meters, twenty meters, thirty meters.

However, just then, a yellow flash crossed the surface of the entire skyscraper more than 750 meters with a monstrous speed. This flash reached the helicopter in a matter of seconds.

However, the lone wolf looked at this scene with a smile and then looked in front of him.

A long row of sparkling black hair fell over the shoulders of a girl in a ruined evening dress.

His hand, without too much haste, touched this girl's shoulder, "In a future life do not ally with All Might."

After that, without putting too much force into it, this hand gave a little push. The girl's body began to fall off the helicopter, beyond the building with more than two hundred floors.

Them, or her, which one are you going to choose, All Might? Thought the man with the yellow eyes.

His smile was getting bigger and bigger, watching that body fall into the void.

Even though, just at that moment, the girl he had decided to get rid of, turning against the wind's force, looked him straight in her eyes.

The wind lifted her hair, showing her eye hidden under her lock of hair.

A gold-colored eye, with two hands inside like a clock. No, the eye was a clock.

The girl's red lips parted as if they were saying something. However, the leader could "read" clearly what she meant.

"I hope you like my surprise, Wolfram."
