   “I was scaring her, ah.” Siyu wiped away the bloodstain on the corner of her lips. Although her complexion was still pale, she seemed to be in a great spirit. There’s none of the weakness that she displayed in front of Chu Shuangyan just now. Siyu laughed, “ I’m just giving her a taste of her own medicine 1 . You should have seen her face just now, she looked very scared.” 

  Seeing that she was fine and was even in the mood to make a joke, the worry in Ji Lin’s heart ease down a lot. 

   When the two of them came back to the hall, Wen Yuan had placed the dishes on the table. Seeing them come back side by side, his eyes flickered faintly before quickly returning back to its calmness. He warmly spoke to Siyu, “You suddenly ran out just now and didn’t manage to drink the medicine. I’ll warm it up for you. You should drink it immediately after you’re done with eating.”

    Siyu hastily thanked him then looked over at the dishes on the table. After Siyu untiringly made mischief for a whole day, their group’s score became the lowest. Therefore, the ingredient that they got was all vegetables. There’s no meat at all. But Wen Yuan actually managed to make a tableful of five to six dishes from these vegetables. Moreover, the smell was even more fragrant than the group next door who had plenty of meat.

   “ I specially made a vegetable porridge for you. Please try it.” Wen Yuan ladled out a bowl of porridge for Siyu.

    “Great Film Emperor, I didn’t expect that your cooking skill would be this good. Why haven’t I seen you show off your skill in the program before?” Sangzi, one of the judges, strolled around to test the food. She originally thought that the food that Siyu’s group made will be tasteless, yet after tasting a bite, she was instantly surprised.

   Wen Yuan shrugged with a helpless look, “Can’t help it. Our group only has me as its labor force. You see, here we have a woman and a child.” He respectively pointed at Siyu and Ji Lin, “Also one is sick and the other is spoiled. If I didn’t do the work. Today, we’ll have to eat air.”

   “Is this considered as trying to please her?” Wen Yuan appeared calm and at ease, “I just think she’s very cute and couldn’t help myself from wanting to care for her a bit more. Do you have a problem with that?”

    There’s no pro….. No, it’s a huge problem! He’s still standing here since when is it Wen Yuan’s turn to care about her! Ji Lin looked as if he smelled something fishy and vigilantly darted a look at Wen Yuan, “you are not interested in my sister, are you?” 

    Wen Yuan just smiled and didn’t say anything. Actually, he himself was not sure what kind of feelings he had towards Siyu. After all, the two of them had just truly known each other for a day. Before this, Wen Yuan just often heard Director Liang mentioned this new actress and developed some curiosity towards her. Afterward, Ji Lin showed off his good sister in front of him from time to time and like a rolling snowball, his curiosity grew bigger over time.

    But after seeing the real person this time, Wen Yuan suddenly understood why Ji Lin dotes on Siyu so much. If it was him, facing a girl that looked like a delicate porcelain doll, perhaps he would also want to hold her in the palm of his hand in fear of her breaking.

They had to wait until the first series was broadcasted and see the audience’s response before they could continue on with the next series. 

    Siyu only asked for a three days holiday from Director Liang. The program here had finished recording and naturally, she had to quickly go back for shooting. At first, Ji Lin wanted to go back with Siyu, but before leaving he got a call from Duan Rulan who, in an ill tone, ordered him to quickly return home. Ji Lin couldn’t shirk away from it. He was forced to go separately from Siyu and left in a car that Ji family had sent over to pick him up.

   After Ji Lin left, Siyu stayed alone. Chu Shuangyan deliberately fell behind everyone. At this moment, she seized the chance to come over and haughtily looked at Siyu. Although her tone wasn’t as strong as before, her expression still remained unfriendly, “I had looked into Xu Qingwan that you mentioned. She indeed changes her methods every day to get closer to A-Lin, what a slut!”

   Speaking of the latter, Chu Shuangyan immediately gnashed her teeth. She had looked into many things, even the matter of Xu Qingwan’s under-the-table work of putting herself into the same production crew as Ji Lin was found out by her. As a result, Chu Shuangyan’s jealousy moved away from Siyu to Xu Qingwan.

   Siyu a matter-of-course attitude made Chu Shuangyan feel stifled. For quite a while, no one said anything. At this moment, the two of them had walked out of the villa. Siyu was trying to see where the nanny van that came to pick her up was parked when suddenly a low-key black car quietly drove over from the shade and accurately stopped in front of Siyu.

   Chu Shuangyan was born in a wealthy family. She naturally knew at a glance that this was a rare luxury car and it’s worth a lot of money. She was still thinking about Siyu’s attitude just now, so grasping the point, she coldly sneered, “What, your gold master is picking you up?” 

   Siyu was attentively looking at the car. The car window was slowly rolled down, the person who sat inside—— was actually Fifth Master Lu!

   Fifth Master Lu was still rolling that string of beads like before. With a body-hugging Tang suit and a dragon embroidery on the cuff, that man sat there as if he was a person in a painting. He turned his face slightly and his eyes that were like an ancient pool instantly captured Siyu, “Get in.”

    How did he get here?

    Siyu was shocked, but she’s not in a hurry to get into the car. Rather, she shot a glance at Chu Shuangyan and said with a smile, “Isn’t this your great friend Fifth Master Lu? What, are you not going to say hi, Miss Chu?”

   F-Fifth Master Lu? ! Chu Shuangyan hadn’t recovered from the shock when Fifth Master Lu’s increasingly chilling gaze lightly looked over and almost made her legs give up.
