The mission wasn't over, so Jake wondered what he should do… Leave with the treasure that the enemies wanted or complete the quest the right way? He decided to check the bag to help him with that choice, and then he frowned when he saw an unconscious white-haired rabbit girl and a sheathed golden sword. For whatever reason, Jake couldn't couldn't check the parameters of the weapon, even though it was clearly powerful. Something was very weird about that... why would they do such a thing as kidnap someone and steals a weapon when they destroyed the whole city?

"So, not only they are criminals, but they are kidnappers as well…" Jake thought.

It was hard to tell the age of those rabbit people, but he was pretty sure that the girl was supposed to be a bit older than him. She was well dressed too, so Jake assumed that she must be one of the owners of the castle. The question again was… Why did they kill everyone and try to kidnap her and the sword?

While Jake was thinking about that, he realized that things were getting noisy outside again… He didn't know if Reinforcements had come or if the remaining parts of the enemy party had invaded the town. Either way, Jake had to check things outside.

"I really don't need the fame of being a thief or a kidnapper, so I should leave those here…" Jake thought. "Nothing good will come out of getting involved even more than I already am, so I should hurry up.

Despite her appearance, the girl was a bit strong, so Jake decided to leave her in the room the boss came from with one of the staff that the court wizards used. Jake could see her eyes moving slightly, so it was clear that she would wake up soon and could defend herself… at least against ordinary mobs. It was hard to imagine that more big guns would come when only one of the bosses showed up.

Jake didn't want to be more infamous than he already was, and since he was taking some loot from the guards and monsters of the castle, it would be better if things remained that way. Regardless, when Jake left the castle, he noticed that the streets were particularly empty. After he headed toward the main street, he saw that some people were returning to the city, and the monsters were nowhere to be seen.

"Against the cavalry arrived at the last moment again…" Jake thought and then headed to where the monsters were coming from.

Eventually, Jake confirmed that his guess was correct. The battle still was taking place, but the humans and some other species that had come to help were dealing with the apes. Jake decided to leave the clean-up with them and head to the dungeon. Unfortunately, his luck wasn't that good.

Jake sighed as he was teleported back to his base… the cavalry also solved the entire problem again. In any case, he decided to hurry up and select the third mission, but it was no longer there. Jake frowned while wondering what that meant… since the reinforcements took their time to reach that area and considering that the monsters had already reached the castle of the second world… maybe the third target had already fallen.

"Out of three… they succeeded with one," Jake said while furrowing his eyebrows.

The sun was already setting, and that day had too much action, so Jake decided to rest for the day. Unfortunately, he failed to relax since he was thinking that the assholes succeeded a little bit.

Jake was also wondering about what precisely happened in the third world. The easiest way to confirm it would be by talking with Frederick. Not only would that be a pain, but he probably was busy as well. Regardless, since Jake couldn't sleep and he was resting, he decided to check the items that he got. Aside from the things that he got from the orcs, only the item of the royal wizards seemed valuable and useful, but they were for mages…

As one would expect, Jake sighed. It was only natural that mage-type items would grant spells instead of skills, but he still expected to get a sword skill with that element. Putting that aside, his shock Resistance was at a terribly low level, so Jake could use the spell to solve that problem. Since he didn't have anything better to do, Jake spent the night shocking himself until the pain exhausted him, and he fell asleep.
