"Look at Jet Sky! truly an assassin!"

"Apparently he's managed to clear the first trial of the Phantom Trials,"

"What? is that true?"

"Yes! I've read about it online!"

"Amazing, it looks like it's going to be an interesting match,"

"Yes, but who is that with those shiny green eyes? by the looks of it he has a hidden primary class!"

"Hmm, clearly he's an Arcane Knight...but he's different, he doesn't use the typical skills an Arcane Knight would use.....it's almost as if he never went to the Academy or the Barracks!"

"He's killing off the monsters quite easily as well!"

"Who is he I wonder...."

"We can only wait for more players to get killed...."

"This time there are 100 people.... it's going to be hard to determine the identity of the person,"

The leaderboard was designed in a way that it only showed the player's name, place, and points, it wouldn't show how the player looked or anything else. The audience was left to figure out who was whom.

"Uhmmm guys.....why is that player Night on the leaderboard? or is there something wrong with me?"

"What!! Wait!.....you're right! that's him!"

"Player Night is here?!"

"Night is taking part? wow"

"Is he perhaps going to reveal himself? I wonder how he looks"

"Quickly! try and find him on the screens!"

"Idiot! how??? we don't know how he looks!"

"You're right....we can only wait until players die off..."

The word that Night was taking part soon spread through the audience, the reaction of the audience was exactly the same as what Nate had imagined. People were curious about his identity, they were pushing their friends while pointing to Night's name on the leader board.

"Hmm, I wonder anyone noticed? meh, I'll just focus on this....it's been like 5 minutes and I only killed like 5 goblins. It's not like they are rare to find or something, but why can't I find more?" Night muttered to himself, "wait.....did someone spawn here as well?"

His suspicions were spot on, after slowly proceeding for a bit, Night climbed onto a mini-hill and looked at an individual slicing off goblins, but what surprised him was that he recognized this person in front of him. The surprise was slowly wiped off by a smile that was forming on his face.

'No way? this dumbass is here? "good luck" indeed Nate!.....wait...there's no way something nice would naturally occur....oh well I don't care, time to slice him off' Night thought before he prepared his double-edged sword.

"Filthy goblins! hah, easy prey!" Jet Sky said as he appeared behind a goblin and dug his dagger into the back of its head, green liquid sprayed all over his face which he instantly wiped off, "fckin hell! some of it went into my mouth.....hey it tastes pretty nice, to be honest.."

"Ew, that's disgusting," a voice said.

"Hmm you are?" Jet Sky asked as he looked at the man in front of him, he had dark blue hair and cold purple eyes but the most interesting thing was that the man held a double-edged sword. It wasn't every day one sees a DE sword user.

"Don't bother. I'm only here to kill you," the man said before disappearing.

The man was, of course, Night, even though Jet Sky was probably one of the best assassins, he couldn't even see his opponent. Thanks to the active skill Night received from "Hermes Exploration" which doubles the speed and evasion of the user until the user runs out of mana or until the skill is turned off.

(A/N): refer to chapters 58 and 59. It's the same title that allows him to fly.

'What's with the speed!' Jet Sky thought before he turned around on instinct. Even if his vision couldn't keep up with Night, his senses were good enough to at least identity the direction of the attack.

"Urgh..." Jet Sky said as he spat out a mouthful of blood.

While his senses were right about the direction of the attack, they didn't tell him where exactly the attack would connect. Naturally, Jet Sky assumed the attack was aimed at his head, unfortunately, he didn't know Night's capabilities.

In Night's mind, the only obvious defense would be to protect your head, a direct shot to the head was fatal, even in the game, he knew Jet Sky would probably defend his head, so taking advantage of that Night stabbed his weapon deep into his opponent's stomach.

Jet Sky quickly backed away, he was proud of his ranker status and he lived up to it, he managed to back away even after getting caught by such an attack, but that hardly mattered Night's speed was more than 700! it would require someone to have 1400 points into DEX which naturally, was impossible for anyone at this point of the game.

"What the fck is happening? who is that?"

"Jet Sky is getting mauled!"

"Who is that man? he's using a double-edged sword!"

"What category does such a weapon fall under?"

"Heck if I know, I'm more curious as to how Jet Sky is dying to him so easily,"

"He's.....so fast.....he's faster than Jet Sky and easily as well..."
