"We're finally here," Night said, his eyes wide open.

Vraun was a beautiful Kingdom, neither was it too hot nor was it too cold. It was nowhere as big as Aeternum but its ambiance was much better, it was way more peaceful.

Vraun wasn't weak in the slightest, regardless of how peaceful the Kingdom was, the army was a force to be reckoned with, the army contributed a lot to the peace and prosperity the country experienced all these years, however, it seemed a bit unusual to Night, considering the fact that Vraun is surrounded by forests that are inhabited by monsters.

Just as they entered the Kingdom, Night got a notification.

'Huh? what now' Night thought as he saw the notifications pop up suddenly.

He was about to dismiss the notifications when he got another notification, however, this time it was a quest.

[Hidden Quest: Unknown being

An unknown being tried to analyze you but you resisted it. The being is now perplexed as this was the first time 'she' failed to analyze someone weaker.

The being is currently in the Kingdom of Vraun but no simple person is able to meet 'her'

"Master, it seems I'm being watched by an unknown being and now I'm tasked with finding this being."

"Unknown being? hmmm - OH" Noel said.

"*Sigh* do you have no choice? I'd rather not meet that old hag, especially with you- DAMMIT I SHOULD'VE KNOWN"

Seeing his master worry he was quite curious, 'someone as strong as master's worried, damn.....'

After minutes of arguing with himself, Noel calmed himself.

"Alright kid, since you said you don't really have any choice lets go"

"But master, who is she? she must be someone from a scary origin"

"Hmm, you're not wrong but don't worry you'll get your answers once we meet her."

After walking for a while, they finally stopped right in front of the royal castle.

It was where the current King of Vraun and his family stayed, almost nobody was granted entry and it was heavily guarded. It was in the center of the Kingdom and the building itself wasn't as big as most Royals castles, in fact, even some of the nobles of Aeternum had bigger castles or palaces than this one.

It wasn't that the Kingdom of Vraun lacked finances, Vraun was almost as rich if not richer than Aeternum. The King was just extremely generous and down to earth, he valued the Kingdoms prosperity more than his own well-being.

Night wondered what they were doing outside the castle when Noel just walked through. He saw the guards looking their way, but they stayed in their place once they looked at Noel.

Just who was his master? Night wondered.

The two of them walked right into the castle and nobody even stopped them, in fact, many of the workers even passed by them and said nothing, some even slightly bowed to Noel, finally, they reached the end of the floor and stood in front of a large door and right outside stood a maid.

"Welcome, master Noel" She greeted Noel while bowing.

"Ah yes, Liza, I hope you're alright, I was wondering if I could see the old hag once?" Noel asked with a smile.

"Now, now master Noel, she's the protector of this Kingdom and yet you call her as such" she chuckled.

"Very well, she is with Your Highness right now but I'm sure they would be delighted to see you," Liza said with a pure smile on her face.

"Oh, who's the boy? he's quite the sharp-looking one" she said as she looked Night up and down.

"Brat, introduce yourself," Noel said.

"Ah, of course, I apologize for that, I am Night, I'm a disciple of GrandMaster Noel"

"Oh? master Noel took in another disciple, well that was unexpected, anyway I am Liza the head royal maid" she said with a smile.

"Oh you guys can go right in," she said while moving aside slightly.

Behind the large door was the royal courtroom where the King and his subjects usually resided. It definitely qualified to be called the King's courtroom.

It was quite simple compared to the other ones but that was what caught Night's attention.

The room was big enough to fit 300 people easily, with a chandelier hanging in the center and all the walls were covered in purple.

The throne was placed on an elevated platform along with multiple other throne-like seats but not as royal as the King's, these were slightly lower than King's.

The rest of the room was empty considering the fact that emergency meetings were rarely called, there were guards standing along the walls of the room and right in front of the King's throne was a table with multiple chairs placed, and in one of the chairs was the King of Vraun whilst the other was a woman who looked like she was in her late 20's but she didn't seem to be formal with the King, in fact, it looked like she was treating him as her child.

The King then noticed the two of us enter and got up from his seat.

"Ahh Noel, it has been so long child," The King said while opening his arms to embrace Noel.

Noel gladly accepted the gesture and with a smile, he said, " Your Majesty, indeed it has, I've only recently finished my work in the region of Tokihiko."

"Bah why are you being so formal with this old man, just call me as you usually do" The King was about to continue when he finally noticed Night but before he could say anything the lady behind the King spoke:

"Oy, brat I see you're not dead yet, not bad, not bad, " The woman said while glaring at Noel.

"Old hag, I should be the one saying that hmph!" Noel replied.

While all this was happening Night just quietly stood there, still unable to even process being at the royal castle and after he saw the King embrace Noel, he almost fainted.
