Charles' study was well organized, with wooden bookshelves lining the walls, filled with books of all shapes and sizes. A few paintings hung on the walls, adding a touch of color to the otherwise muted space. A desk was placed in the center of the room, covered with various papers and books. Charles was sitting at the desk, with a pen in his hand, scribbling something on a piece of paper. He looked up as he heard footsteps.

"Good morning, how are you doing?" Charles asked.

"Good morning, I'm fine. How are you, father?" Rain asked. Watching him working like this, he felt the urge to help him. However, he knew that Charles wouldn't let him help and said to focus on training.

"I'm fit and fine. So what brings you here today?" Charles asked, settling his pen down.

Rain took a step forward and came near Charles.

"I want all of my accumulated training funds." Rain said.

Charles was shocked. He lifted his face and stared at Rain. After all, his son who lived in pride and never asked for a single penny was now asking for all of his accumulated funds.

"Really? All?" Charles said, leaning forward in his chair, he confirmed it again because Rain's funds were accumulated for five whole years and Rain never used a single coin from it.

"Yeah. All of it." Rain just nodded.

"Why?" Charles asked as he was curious about the reason that changed his stubborn son.

"I want to go on outdoor training and I want your permission for 'that' also." Rain stated the reason like it was obvious.

"Is that so?" Charles said, leaning back in his chair, he made a thoughtful expression. Although he was still dubious about it because Rain had gone for outdoor training many times in the past. So why he wanted money now?

Still, he didn't try to pry now because he was just happy with his changing son.
