Villain Is on Vacation

32 Massive Shock

As night fell, individuals began to gather in the drawing hall for the birthday celebration.

The atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation as the guests chatted and mingled with one another.

However, there was a growing concern among the attendees regarding the absence of Rain Holmes, and everyone began to wonder where he could be.

In one corner of the party hall, Carla and Charles were conversing with each other.

"Hey, Charles, were you able to find Rain?" Carla, Rain's mother worriedly asked. As Rain was absent from the party Carla and Charles were trying to find him.

"No, I can't find him anywhere. I have checked everywhere. Even his room is locked." Charles, Rain's father said anxiously. Apparently, they searched everywhere in the mansion and other areas. But they couldn't find Rain anywhere.

"Hey Charles, do you know where Rain is?"

Carla worriedly asked.

"I don't know either. " Charles shook his head. He also didn't have any idea about this. Because he was busy for arranging the party. He was worried that where Rain went.

"Have you tried to call him?" Charles asked.

"I tried. But it keeps saying that his mobile is switched off. Why ask though? Do you take me as a dumb woman?" Carla said. She put her hands on her hips and glared at Charles.

"Umm... It's not like that. I just wanted to confirm something." Charles shook his head and continued his explanation, "Apparently, I tried to call him too. However, it said that his phone is switched off.

So I thought maybe he blocked my number because he might be angry about what happened with Kaya a few days ago." Charles shrugged his shoulders.

"Don't worry about it now. Apologize to him when you meet him. Let's try to find him for now." Carla said in a supportive manner.

Charles nodded, after thinking for some time he said,

"Let's ask Mark," Charles suggested. Hearing this, Carla nodded in response.

After that, both of them started walking quickly toward where Mark was.

In the Party Hall,

The male attendees of the party hall were all focused on a particular group huddled in the corner.

Interestingly, it was not a group of people with significant influence or status, that group consisted of gorgeous women who were engaged in lively conversation.

"Hey Emma, do you know where Rain is?"

A girl dressed in fancy clothes and jewelry asked.

"No. I don't know." Emma just coldly answered.

She was wearing an exquisite high-class dress, adorned with accessories and pieces of jewelry that complemented her appearance. Her pink hair was elegantly styled, slightly curled, and flowed down her shoulders. Light makeup accentuated her beautiful features, making her look like a glamorous idol.

Despite her stunning appearance, Emma's demeanor was cold and distant, giving off an air of aloofness.

In reality, she didn't want to come here.

She just came here because her parents said. In the end, she had to come here.

She just wanted to give an engagement dissolvment contract to Rain and Go home.

Kaya was also part of this group. She standing near Emma and chatting with the group.

She, on the other hand, dressed modestly, wearing minimal makeup and jewelry. Her natural beauty shone through, captivating the attention of many men in the hall.

Kaya's appearance was not as flashy as Emma's, but her simple and elegant style exuded a certain charm that was hard to ignore.

However, Kaya's thoughts were focused on making Rain accept a challenge and publicly humiliating him, which caused a sly smirk to appear on her face, and her eyes sparkled mischievously as she plotted her next move.

On the side of this group, a girl was just silently listening to their talks.

She was Arya Hillson, Rain's classmate, and friend, and also the Third heroine.

She was also quite a beauty.

Arya had long, silky yellow hair that flowed down to her waist, framing her face in a soft, golden glow. Her hair was well-maintained and styled in loose, effortless waves that gave her an ethereal and dreamy look.

Her expressionless face, on the other hand, seemed almost sculpted from marble, with high cheekbones and a pointed chin that gave her a regal and sophisticated appearance. Her large, almond-shaped eyes were a bright red, which contrasted beautifully against her pale, porcelain skin.

Her features were delicate and refined, giving her an air of elegance and grace that drew people toward her.

Despite her reserved and introverted personality, her physical beauty was undeniable and left a lasting impression on those who crossed her path.

Don't think from her appearance that she is indifferent to everything. Nope, she is just a coward, she was afraid of the high-class life because of her humble background, even though she had good grades and potential. She also longed for high-class life, but her fear prevented her from pursuing it.

And just like in every cliche novel, she got tangled with the Protagonist in the plot. Although they started off as strangers, they eventually fell in love with each other, leading to a happy ending.

There were many sub-heroines, support characters, and even low-class villains and extras in the drawing hall.

You can say, It was like the pre-gathering of all characters before starting of the plot. The crowd at the party was eagerly anticipating Rain's arrival.

However, their reactions varied. Some were visibly annoyed and frustrated, while others were enjoying their food with a sense of carefree joy.

A few individuals were fixated on observing the girls present at the party, and others were awestruck by the luxurious atmosphere.

Despite the overall excitement in the air, there were a select few who sensed that something was off.

They found it peculiar that a high-class birthday party such as this was running late, as it was not in line with the usual practices of such events. As they waited, their curiosity grew and they began to wonder what could be causing the delay.

On the other side,

Charles and Carla arrived at the place where Mark was. He was helping the staff to maintain the services and managing everything.

"Greetings, Lord & Madam." Mark greeted them and bowed.

"Okay. Do you know where is Rain?" Carla asked in a concerned tone.

"Oh. The young master just said he has gone for preparing gifts for everyone in the morning. He said he will soon return." Mark said in a determined tone. He replied like it was an obvious thing.

Hearing this, Charles shrugged his shoulders.

"Can't he just send you or head butler to these things?" He sighed.

"That boy never fails to amaze me." Charles put his hand on his head.

"Calm down. Honey, He will soon come back. He is a good child. Don't scold him when he will come back."

With Carla's assurance, Charles calmed down.

"Why, is he not at the party? This is not something like my Rain would do. Something must have happened to him." Carla mumbled.

When they were just talking,

Mark, Charles, Carla, Emma, and Kaya's phones rang.

In a completely different location,

far from where the message was being read, the sun was shining high in the sky, casting a warm glow over the surrounding landscape.

The sound of waves crashing onto the shore could be heard in the distance, creating a soothing atmosphere.

On the sandy beach, an attractive man dressed in a beach shirt and shorts lounged lazily on a net hammock strung between two trees.

He gently swayed back and forth on the comfortable net, feeling the gentle breeze on his face.

With a satisfied expression, he exclaimed, "Now I can finally get some sweet rest."
