Villain Is on Vacation

45 First Class & Arya's Realisation

A strikingly handsome man made his way into the classroom, his confident strides commanding the attention of all present.

Standing tall and proud near the podium, he introduced himself in a calm and collected voice.

"Hello everyone. My Name is Kevin Brownie. I am an A-class ranker and I will be your class teacher this year. I will also take your combat practice class."

The mention of his A-class ranking elicited murmurs of admiration from the students, who were curious to learn more about their new class teacher. Despite his impressive credentials, Kevin's face remained stoic and devoid of emotion as he stood there. The weight of his words hung in the air, leaving the classroom in a state of hushed silence.

He had piercing blue eyes that shone with sharp intelligence, his dark grey hair was styled neatly and professionally, emphasizing his no-nonsense attitude and commitment to his work.

He was wearing a white shirt that hugged his frame, his sleeves were rolled so you can see muscles in his forearms.

Many girls already became his fangirls at the moment.

'So handsome, but not as much as Rain.' However, most of them thought this in their mind.

"You can read the rules & regulations of the academy in the forum. I don't have time for that. Now all people will start introducing themselves according to their ranks." Kevin said as explaining rules was bothering him.

The room fell silent as a tall and strikingly handsome man rose to his feet. His dark blue hair shimmered in the light, reminding one of the depths of the night sky.

His black eyes were piercing and intense, but what truly caught the attention of those present were the silver pupils that shone like tiny stars within them.

He was like a shining star amidst the darkness, a stark contrast to the cold and reserved demeanor of Rain. As if to emphasize his celestial nature, the man's surname was Astaseul, a name that evoked images of the cosmos and the infinite expanse of the universe.

The students couldn't help but be drawn to his presence, curious about the mysteries that lay behind the alluring facade of this enigmatic figure

"Hello. My name is Ken Astaseul. I am a sword user. Hope you will take care of me. Let's get along from now on." He just smiled and introduced himself politely.

Many girls shrieked. 'Kyaa'

Boys started to take him as a public enemy.

"Quiet." Kevin just said adding slight pressure to his voice, the classroom fell silent for a moment.

"Next. Rank 2." Kevin folded his hands and said.

"Hello. My name is Emma Rose. I am a fire magic user and I can also use draggers." Emma introduced herself in a cold tone. Many boys stared at her and girls started whispering themselves. However, Emma knew that they were talking about Rain, so she just ignored them and sat down.

Daisy just clicked her tongue.

"Hi. My name is Martha woodstalker." Next, a girl with wearing a half-mask stood, she was wearing a hood on her head so it was hard to see anything. The only thing that can be noticed was her golden eyes. They were shining brightly like the essence of the world lay there. Still, her hourglass figure couldn't be hidden. She was a mysterious beauty.

Many people were dazed at her expressionless introduction.

Then a cheerful voice came,

"Hello. My name is Kaya Holmes. I am a saber user and I also have a slight talent for water magic. Nice to meet you. Let's get along well."

Some People stared at her with doubtful gazes. Like trying to see her true nature. However many of them were just admiring her.

As this introduction continued.

S-cLASS had the top 50 students. After all of the 50 students introduced themselves, Kevin said.

"Okay. So now it's over. Remember them, if any accidents do not happen, most of your four years in the academy would be with these people. So get along well." Hearing this, many students started glancing at their desk mates and other students. They hoped that they graduate from the academy without any accidents.

"As I said, I will be your combat class teacher. I won't waste my time teaching you theories and letting you become memorizing machines.

From today on, you will gain experience and learn practical knowledge.

Even if you had memorized hundreds of sword techniques however you never even cut through some monster then it's useless.

So there will be practical lessons in my class. Now let's go to the Training ground. Follow me." Following Kevin's departure from the classroom, the other students soon followed suit, making their way to the designated training ground.

The sun was high in the sky, casting a warm glow upon the area as the S-class students gathered together in preparation for their combat practice.

"Okay, everyone. Take out your weapon and those who don't have any weapon select from there." Kevin should loudly.

As Kevin began to give instructions, the students eagerly took out their weapons, either from their space rings or from the storage provided.

For those who were without a weapon, there were plenty of options available to choose from.

Ken took a longsword from the storage, it was a simple longsword made out of copper. Like him many young men chose swords. There were many types of swords in the storage. Interestingly, some females also chose the sword. One of them particularly stood out as she chose a heavy longsword.

While Kaya took out a copper saber from her storage ring. Other people also chose their weapons such as bows, spears, axe, and magic wands. Emma chose to practice her magic so she also took out her magic wand.

"Now, you will start practicing real combat.

People who have a group can spar among themselves and people who are alone can train with dummies. So start now, I will give you pointers according to it."

With a booming voice, Kevin instructed the students to begin their combat practice, allowing those who had formed groups to spar among themselves, while those who were alone were left to train with dummies.

As the students began to train in earnest, Arya found herself among the latter group, her lack of social standing and unfamiliarity with the other students leaving her with no one to train with. However, undeterred, she threw herself into her training, determined to make the most of her time and improve her combat skills. She slashed at the dummy with her rapier relentlessly.

The class was fully engaged in the training session, with Kevin at the center of it all, providing instructions and tips to each student. He was able to guide the students in developing their combat skills and show them efficient ways to use their weapons. His expertise and experience as an A-class ranker were evident in the way he provided feedback and advice.

During the session, Kevin also made it a point to acknowledge the students who showed potential and performed exceptionally well. He praised them for their efforts and encouraged them to continue striving for improvement.

As the training session came to an end, he dismissed the class, reminding them to practice and review the pointers he gave them, as they would be applying them in their future classes.

He also told them to apply for the corresponding combat major according to their talent and mastery of weapons. They can attend lectures there.

...

...

After a long day of attending lectures and training alone, Arya returned to her dorm room feeling completely drained.

She lay down on her bed, feeling the exhaustion of the day weighing on her.

She began to reflect on how she had spent her time, realizing that she had trained alone and no one had really talked to her.

"It's so lonely."

She felt incredibly lonely and wished Rain was there with her to spar and keep her company.

"Why am I even thinking about Rain when he is not even here?"

However, she was soon reminded that Rain was no longer at the academy. He had left to pursue his freedom and the Holmes family had been unable to locate him.

"By the way, why he left the house like that?

"Didn't he has almost everything?"

"Where can he even go? Wouldn't be dangerous to roam around?"

As she thought more about it, she realized that she didn't really know anything about Rain or where he was. Her thoughts began to spiral out of control, and she felt a sense of loss and confusion.

"He even blocked me on social media."

She wondered who she was to Rain, and how he saw her. She felt like they were just former classmates who occasionally talked at school, and were not really friends.

"By the way, according to him, he doesn't have any friends."

However, she realized that she was the only one who had talked to him in school and that he had been incredibly lonely.

"Maybe I should have become his friend."

She felt guilty that she hadn't tried harder to befriend him and include him in social activities.

"I didn't think that the things between him and his sister were that bad. And even his engagement was canceled. It didn't look like he didn't like Emma. Then was it Emma who broke the engagement?"

As she thought more about Rain's life, she searched about him on the academy forum.

Soon many things started coming about him.

Different types of conspiracy and facts about him. As she was in the same school as Rain she was able to find some genuine information about Rain.

Soon she found 5700 words long post written by 'Rain's friend' username.

As she read she began to cry silently in her dark room, realizing for the first time how difficult it must have been for him to live in such solitude. It was a painful story.

"For me, it would be so hard to live a day like this and he was living this like for years?"

She also felt angry at the people around him who had ignored him and made him feel lonely, including herself.

She realized that if she had treated him like a friend, things might have been different and he might not have left.
