Werewolf Progenitor Chronicles

Chapter 4 - Where is the werewolf?

A small girl around 9 years old could be seen jumping and running through an obstacle course made of wooden posts and other various objects.

The dainty figure that was covered in mud and malnourished 3 years ago was gone as the skin no longer looked as if it was stuck to her bones. The new muscles made her more limber without impeding her growth and allowing her to do acrobatic stunts.

Her shoulder length black hair which is now shiny and vibrant from having a diet considered healthy for that era, was held together by a band made of sinew. With her inquisitive eyes, beaming smile and cheeks with baby fat, she would make for a perfect kid that would fit in anywhere in the modern age if not for the clothes that she was wearing.

Coming to a stop at the end of the obstacle course, she wiped the sweat from her forehead and looked over towards the edge of the clearing.

Two massive wolves were laying on the ground watching the weird human in interest as they waited until she signaled them that she was finished. The wolves saw her walk over to a wooden staff that was inserted to the ground, before grabbing it and settling into a stance that showed her intent to battle.

The naive expression and the innocent smile turned into a blank mask with neutral eyes that promised a fight.

Both wolves looked at each other with massive...well, "wolfish" grins. In the blink of an eye they were in front of her flanking from both sides.

As their muscles rippled, ready to leap at her, she lowered her stance in preparation.

Unfortunately these were not your average wolves as they slammed their jaws shut and dipped their heads down a fraction so the staff would bounce off of the tops of their head.

The wolves ended up head butting themselves as they landed while the girl had back-stepped out of their way.

The staff was launched into the air, and the girl used this brief opportunity to launch herself up using the wolves head as a foothold to grab the staff.

Following this the fight continued with her dodging and redirecting her body with the staff using the ground, trees, and the wolves themselves. Each time the wolves would get close to tearing the flesh from her she would use acrobatic moves to evade.

As she slid under one of the wolves with her back to the ground staring towards the treetops with the claws mere centimeters from her face, the sound of someone clapping was coming from one of the branches of the trees.

Her mask of concentration slipped while she looked over to the sound with a smile on her face.

Both wolves turned their heads to the sound at the same time before their tongues popped out and their tails wagged like they weren't just ferocious wolves a second ago, instead happy house dogs excited at their masters return.

"Good job Evah!"

The sentence was followed by a thump as Turk jumped 10 meters to the ground from the branch and walked over to the girl named Evah.

Turk just smiled at this and with his best fake mysterious air said,

"It should be about time."

"What do you mean, Da?"

She tilted her head, while Turk felt warmth being called dad. Even though she is not his biological daughter he considers her one after the years of teaching her and keeping her safe.

"I'm going to make you just like me with great strength and you will live a long time."

Evah's confused face turned into excitement in the blink of an eye. Truthfully, even though Turk wants her to have enough strength to survive on her own there is also a selfish part of him that is influencing this decision.

Ever since he learned that with his divinity he is immortal and will remain the same age as he is, he realized that everyone around him will eventually turn to dust and he will walk a lonely road.

He is not some xianxia character who can live for thousands of years alone and cultivate in a room for years. He believes that even with his divinity helping him stay alive it will be useless if he turns insane from being alone. If he went that route he would probably commit suicide after making so many friendsh.i.p.s and relationsh.i.p.s that only last for a brief time in his long life.

By transforming Evah he can have someone to ground him and share experiences with as he wanders the world.

Turk had not yet let go of his previous life and wanted someone to understand his story of how he traveled back in time. The thought of messing up time and casing untold destruction was pushed away with his "go with the flow" attitude. Anyways if anything happens he can just see if big brother R.O.B. can fix it.

After explaining his decision to Evah she wasn't any less excited even though she would be facing the consequences of being immortal. Even learning that she would turn into a furry man-thing wasn't enough to deter her.

With a sigh at how she was acting, he told her to lay down on the grass and close her eyes.

Lifting her arm Turk bit her as gently as possible with his lengthened incisors. Unlike some movies there wasn't any great change that involves thrashing and screaming; instead she just went into a small coma.

Turk decided to pamper his two wolves while waiting for her to wake up. Because he infused his memories along with the werewolf venom it would take an hour or two for her to wake up.

The venom will strengthen her in all aspects allowing her to digest the memories without her brain turning into a vegetable.

As he sat there keeping watch he thought back to how far his strength has grown in the last few years. As a divine individual and being a progenitor his strength will jump massively at the beginning then slow down and become a constant rise. As long as he keeps living he will become stronger.

If his strength was to be compared to modern times as of now he can flip an M1 Abrams with one arm and move fast enough that the human eye cannot track him.

She faced Turk and looked at him with a strange gaze, "Hey Da?"

"Yeah?"

"You're not a lolicon right?"
