Witcher at Hogwarts

Chapter 128 Sudden Love

Only then did Ethan realize that Tonks was acting like this because of him.

"It's okay, I don't mind." Ethan stopped Mr. Weasley who was apologizing to him.

It happened that Tonks raised her head at this moment and saw Ethan standing at the door.

She immediately lowered her head as if she was electrocuted, then picked up a pile of documents and left as if running away from another door.

An Auror in an office noticed the two people standing at the door, and he walked towards Ethan and Arthur Weasley.

"Good morning, Weasley," said the man. His tawny hair and thick eyebrows were mixed with streaks of gray. Behind his gold-rimmed glasses was a pair of sharp yellow eyes, very majestic, like an old lion.

"Weasley, who is this?" The man stared at Ethan, his eyes staying on Ethan's eyes for a particularly long time.

"This is Ethan" Mr. Weasley introduced Ethan to the man enthusiastically.

"Ethan, this is the Head of the Auror Office, Rufus Scrimgeour" Mr. Weasley introduced the man to Ethan.

"Hello, Ethan, welcome to the Ministry of Magic." Rufus Scrimgeour stretched out his hand and shook Ethan's hand.

Although Rufus Scrimgeour spoke words of welcome, his tone was rather cold, without any hint of enthusiasm.

Ethan could feel that Rufus Scrimgeour's attitude was closely related to Tonks' matter.

Mr. Weasley also felt that something was not right in the atmosphere, so he hurriedly said, "Stringer, then I will take Ethan to find Mrs. Burns first."

Rufus Scrimgeour said nothing, just nodded and returned to the Auror's office, closing the door.

Mr. Weasley also felt that the atmosphere was a bit dull, so he hurriedly led Ethan forward.

The two passed through the third oak door, walked into another aisle, and then turned left.

Coming to another corridor, turn right again and walk into a dimly lit and dilapidated corridor.

Finally, we came to the end of the corridor and could go no further. There was a door on the left slightly opened, and we could see that it was a broom closet. There was a faded brass sign on the door on the right, prohibiting the misuse of Muggle items. manage.

Mr. Weasley's office was dark and shabby, and seemed slightly smaller than a broom closet.

Two desks were squeezed inside, surrounded by a row of filing cabinets that were almost overflowing along the wall.

There were crumbling packages of documents stacked on the top of the cabinet, and there was almost no room beside the table for people to move around.

Judging from the little space available on the wall, one could see Mr. Weasley's favorite items, several car advertisements, one of which showed a disassembled engine.

There were two illustrations of a mailbox, which he apparently cut out from a Muggle children's book, and a diagram of how to install a socket.

"There are no windows here," Mr. Weasley said apologetically, taking off his bomber jacket and draping it over the back of the chair.

"Ethan, Amelia Bones' office is over there" Mr. Weasley pointed in the direction to Ethan.

"There's her name on the door. Do you want me to take you there? Ethan?" Mr. Weasley asked.

"No, I can do it myself." Ethan refused Mr. Weasley's help and walked in the direction he pointed.

While passing by a women's toilet, Ethan heard sobbing coming from the toilet. Ethan immediately recognized that it was Tonks' voice.

Since it was a women's room, Ethan couldn't go in directly, so he waited at the door. He wanted to resolve this inexplicable misunderstanding with Tonks.

After waiting for a while, the toilet door opened, and Tonks walked out with red eyes.

As soon as she went out, she saw Ethan standing at the door. She exclaimed and subconsciously wanted to run away, but Ethan grabbed her arm.

"Why have you been avoiding me?" Ethan asked directly.

It's okay if I don't say it, but when I mentioned this, it seemed to poke at Tonks's sadness.

Tonks started to cry again. "If you hate me, why did you agree to date me? You could have just told me that instead of writing it in the newspaper and letting everyone know I'm a fool!"

Tonks whimpered.

"When did I say I hate you?" Ethan asked.

"I read the paper!" cried Tonks.

"That's what the newspapers said! I, a stupid female Auror, am not worthy of a promising hero like you, right?"

Tonks struggled to free her arm from Ethan's grasp.

"Tonks, I swear I didn't say those words, and I don't hate you." Ethan said to Tonks sincerely.

Tonks seemed to have been pushed by someone, and she stopped struggling suddenly, "What do you mean? You want to lie to me again, right?"

"I mean, it's all made up in the papers, and I don't hate you at all."

Ethan got close to Tonks' face and spoke to Tonks word by word.

Tonks was stunned. She didn't know what to do. She didn't expect this to be the case.

"So you really don't hate me?" Tonks continued to confirm in disbelief.

"You are such a good girl, how could I hate you." Ethan deliberately said this in order to make Tonks relax.

He even scraped a tear off Tonks' face with his finger.

"Oh my God, I don't know what to say right now -" A hint of seductive red appeared on Tonks' pale face.

"Let go, I won't struggle anymore," Tonks said softly, and then she realized that there seemed to be some ambiguity in her words, and her face turned red.

"So - what do you think about that matter?" Tonks stared at the toes of her shoes, tangled her hands together, not daring to look at Ethan's face.

"I think we can get along." Ethan whispered in Tonks's ear.

At that moment, Tonks even stopped breathing. After hearing Ethan's words, Tonks let out a long breath.

"Oh, that's great." Tonks blushed as she realized she had said something stupid.

"Then what should we do now?" Tonks asked, vaguely expecting something in her heart.

"Now, we should go one by one." Ethan paused deliberately, feeling the violent beating of Tonks's heart.

"It's time for us to work hard. Director Amelia Bones is still waiting for me," Ethan said.

Tonks was stunned for a moment, then quickly realized that Ethan was joking.

"Ethan, you bastard!" Tonks also laughed and hit Ethan twice.

"Alright! Alright!" Ethan joked with Tonks for a while, then squeezed Tonks' arm.

"I'm going to see the director. Come find me in my office later, okay?" Ethan whispered in Tonks' ear, and blew a breath into Tonks' ear.

Tonks seemed to be very sensitive, her body immediately softened, she remained silent, and nodded with a flushed face.

Ethan then let go of Tonks and escorted her to the door of the Auror's office.

"See you soon," Ethan said to Tonks.

Tonks blushed and nodded, returning to her seat in the office.

Her mind kept recalling the scene just now, sometimes sweet, sometimes shy.

"Tonks, I'm so glad you figured it out!" the Auror sitting next to Tonks said happily.

Tonks was confused at first as to what it meant, but then she realized it and her hair turned back to a bright pink color.
