As Severus was contemplating, from the corner of his eyes that the old man who has quieted down was now staring randomly toward the sea.

"Is anything the matter?"

Severus was confused. Although sunset was beautiful but Severus was sure that this man had seen several sunsets like this in his lifetime.

The old man gazed at the horizon. " Girls are just like waves. gentle and refreshing, however, a sea had several waves. One after another hits the sea and merges with water. I bet you will feet certain waves in your life but you should only accept the wave which takes you with itself. The one which not only touches your body but also your soul. Be prepared Severus, in this journey, you are bound to lose a lot and it totally depends on you what you want to protect. I hope whatever you lose or whatever you gain, you can find happiness in it"

The old man finished saying. Severus felt like something was strange with his words but somehow he wasn't able to point his finger at it. He felt like it was the last words of him and this thought scared him. Just like the old man, Severus too was staring at the horizon. He heard the sounds of bell and gush of wind stroked his face. As he turned he was shocked. The old man who was sitting earlier disappeared in thin air. He instantly stood up on his feet as he turned around and searched for the old man but he found nothing. Not even a trace of him. It was as if everything was in his imagination. He pinched his thigh and Instantly shrieked in pain. The pain told him that whatever he saw earlier was not a dream. He actually met the old man and even talked with him. 

Severus sat down on his bench again as he thought about everything they both conversed. Icetra, noworry, Hui Island, Melanie.

Whatever that old man said was it true?

Can I really believe him?

What if it was not the case and he is duping me in one of his traps?

Sigh.

Severus had various doubts in his mind?

Oh damn, what I am supposed to do now?

Severus scratched his head in confusion.

Severus who was completely immersed in his thoughts didn't notice when a blackbird quietly perched on his shoulder.

Noworry saw Severus in deep thought. He tried reading Severus' thoughts with his psychic but all he saw confusion when he tried to. He later gave up on it and resumed to his fate to ask from Severus. When he saw that Severus didn't notice his presence he lightly slapped Severus in his face with his wings.

Severus was Slapped Instantly came to present.

[Hey punk! What happened? You look like you are in deep trouble?]

Severus was now used to with noworry antics thus he wasn't angry at him for slap. He casually laid on his bench as he ratted the entire discussion with the old man to noworry. As Severus was explaining, Noworry expression started changing. In the last, he was left stunned.

[Is this for real?]

Severus nodded his head.

[ And you didn't bother calling me?]

"....."

Severus himself was shocked to the core when he saw the old man. Later one thing led to another and their discussion took a interesting turn making him forget about everything. Severus was embarrassed. From the corner of his eyes, noworry was Desella coming towards them.

[ Are we going to tell her?]

Severus instantly shook his head in denial. He himself wasn't clear with anything thus he thought it would be better to not tell her anything. Nothing was going to be solved even if he told her anything moreover it will only affect her. 

"She already lived a tough life noworry thus I don't want her to know anything. "

Noworry hummed in response.

From afar they saw Desella having fun with the water. She was like usual playing a silly game of touching the seawater and then running away from it so that the wave won't her. Severus smiled at her childish game and slowly approached her.

"Had enough fun?"

Desella who was earlier immersed in her joy heard a cool voice calling her. With a wide smile, she turned back and giggled happily.

"It's too awesome. I never knew a beach would look so pretty and amazing. The air around us is so refreshing. If possible I just want to stay my life here. Such peace and serenity. I don't think I can get it somewhere else"

Severus glanced at Desella and hummed in response. Like Desella he too likes the air around the beach and felt refreshed as well as energized but it was not up to that point that he wanted to spend the rest of his life here. Nevertheless, he merely smiled.

"Should we go back back to our apartment?"

"Sure"

With this, both of them went back to their rented place. Since today was a tiresome journey they both were pretty exhausted. For a week they have not truly rested and a trip in the carriage was uncomfortable too thus Severus and Desella went their separate ways. Desella instantly hit the bed whereas Severus just sprawled on the bed like a big fat cat.

[So what are our plans? You have not told me anything much these days? Are you perhaps trying to hide something from me?]

Small pointy eyes that were pitch black squinted. Severus felt intimidated under noworry suspicious gaze. He tried hard to maintain his composure.

"Why do you feel like that? I don't believe where do you even get the confidence that I dare to hide things from the legendary Noworry. Oh please! "

"I still love my life"

" Well, the plan is simple. Since I know that Melanie is Hui Island princess than we are going to investigate the Song family. I have a hunch that My previous assassination and Melanie has some connections. I don't know but I always feel like there is something that I am missing. There is just something about me that Melanie knows about but we don't. As far as my guess is there I don't think even Maverick is aware of it"

[Why so? To be honest I am a little bit shocked that Maverick believed in our lie.]

Haha!

A chuckle escaped from Severus' mouth.

"Who said he believed us?"

[Didn't he?]

"Of course not. I am sure he must have his own reasons to let us escape this time. Although I don't know what reasons to be specific somehow I feel like, after my death, everything in the main palace has changed."

Noworry was confused. After all, he was a bird ultimately so he wasn't keen to observe the change in human psychology but Severus being an observational person quickly caught the hints. Maverick had started doubting Melanie. 

"Ha!"

" Even the purest love can be suspected when tides are unfavorable"

[mmmm...love is just a medicine that worked differently for different peoples]

"Now let's sleep Noworry. I am too tired today"

[Sure]

Severus turned the lights off and fell asleep.

Next day

Desella woke up feeling energized and refreshed. She stretched her hands in the air as she performed light stretches. After waking up she got finished with her daily chores and walked out of her room. As soon as she walked out a sweet aroma of food assaulted her nostrils. 

"Aahhh delicious. Is it an almond cake?"

With her eyes glued on the plate of almond cake, Desella strode forward and before she could munch on it Severus slapped her hands.

"Go wash your hands before eating"

Grudgingly she left and washed her hands as she sat at the table to finish her breakfast.

"You are early today Severus" questioned Desella.

"...."

"It's always you who wake up late" Severus deadpanned her.

Desella ignored the embarrassment and happily finished her munching on the cake. When she was finished she patted her belly in happiness when she was full.

"You again ate so much. You better not complain again about having indigestion. We have a lot of work today to do" 

Desella froze for a moment. She totally forgot that they came here for some urgent work. Like a child, she pouted but nodded her head weakly.

Severus swiftly finished his breakfast and started cleaning the table.

"You can leave this to me. Just go and get ready. Try to wear something simple and don't forget to hide your face with a veil"

"Aye Aye sir" 

With that, she went back to her room. She got ready pretty fast this time. It only took her 15 min to get all dressed up. She came outside in a clean sky blue ankle-length dress and her face was covered with a creme colored veil. Only her eyes were visible and everything else was covered with the veil.
