A Fallen Knight-Lost art of Necromancy

A lovely lady with brunette hair was seen wandering in the streets of Hui Island. Who else it can be if not Desella. She had already discussed everything with Severus before coming here alone so she didn't fear anything. 

Come on Desella. Now it's all on you to bring some insider information for Severus. I swear I will bring the exclusive news about that bitch Melanie's family. 

As Desella was contemplating how to execute her plan from the corner of her eyes she saw an old woman across the streets selling ornaments. The woman was the same as any other old woman with wrinkles all over her face. Although her clothes were not torn and degraded it was obvious from the condition that they were repeated numerous times. She was having a tiny cart of her own and was selling handmade jewelry made up of seashells. Desella sized the ornaments and saw that they were all beautiful and intricately designed but for some reasons, people were not buying her ornaments instead they all were more inclined towards the shop which was next to her. The shop had glass window displays and some of them were displayed on the shelf however Desella wasn't fascinated with them. She really thought that the ornaments that the old woman was having were more beautiful. 

Perhaps this was how human mentality works. Although the same shells were used to make them still, people were more trusting towards the owner of the shop.

Desella fastened her pace and in quick strides stood in front of that old woman's cart. The old woman saw that a customer was approaching her and her eyes lit up. She quickly dusted herself and her cart with a clean cloth and smiled for welcoming Desella. 

In return, Desella smiled curtly and started observing the designs. She noticed something different about the ornaments. When she was standing across the road she only observed the ornaments and their style but now after inspecting it with her own hands, she saw that there was something else on the ornaments too except the design. Just like the beautiful engraving of flowers, there was also an engraving of letters. She was shocked when she saw the alphabet but concealed her thoughts.

Desella casually glanced at everything and at last, picked up a simple coral bracelet. "Granny how much for this bracelet?"

The old woman's smile stiffened when she saw the bracelet Desella wicked. Nevertheless, she smiled. "Miss it's 10 silver coin"

"Isn't it too expensive for a simple bracelet like this? It's just some shells and wire bound in a loop"

"Miss it is but these are all handcrafted. You can see the intricate design in the shells. I spend a lot of time creating these. You can't find these somewhere else. Its custom made by me plus the piece of a bracelet you are holding is one of the ornaments from my collection known as 'Alive'. Although I am not a big ornament master, every skill has it's worth."

"I understand but still…." Desella pretended.

The old woman smiled sadly. " It's the least I can ask for to miss this piece of art. Its sad people don't appreciate art these days"

Desella quickly caught the hidden meaning of her words. Now she was sure that this woman was not an ordinary woman however this was not the correct time to expose her.

"If your ornaments are so beautiful and handmade then why is everyone bringing the same ornament from that shop but not with you? There should be a reason?"

The old woman looked towards the shop and then looked back at Desella. A cold smile graced her lips as she chided. "If you want you can buy from there too"

"....."

I never said I want to buy anything from that shop.

Geez!

Anger.

"No no, you misunderstood me. I was just curious."

"Oh! I am sorry. " the old woman apologized.

"Oh, granny please don't apologize. You are embarrassing me. Actually, we are new here. I came here with my master to spend vacations and it's our second day. We don't know much about Hui Island. I have heard that it's famous for medicines and herbs. It's too fascinating but I fear that I might misbehave and if that happened, my master and I would be facing the wrath of Lord Shui" Desella explained everything with a guilty smile.

The old lady seemed to understand and thus she too smiled politely as she offered to tour her.

"If you want I can inform you about Hui Island so that you and your master don't face any problems. This place is really not safe for pretty women like you. It will be noon soon. I would suggest you go home before it's' noon or else it would be lunchtime and most of the shops would be closed at that time. Thieves and rogue criminals are most active at noon and night time."

With this said the old woman quickly handed her a packed bracelet.

Desella paid her amount and thanked the woman with a genuine smile.

As Desella left the shop, the old woman behind her smirked.

"I see. It's been so long since I interacted with a will. Geez, they are so rare. Aye, I miss that Lil demon of mine"

The old woman had a smile which was sad. It was as if she was missing someone but there was also a relief on her face. It was a rather complex emotion which no one may understand except her.

Soon Desella came back to her rented apartment. She saw that Severus wasn't at home. She thought about something and again left the house. The food stalls were nearby their palace so Desella quickly bought lunch and placed it on the table.

Ah, fresh chicken nuggets. Idiot Severus comes fast so we can devour it. 

Ding!

As Desella was complaining inside her mind she heard the doorbell rang. She went to open the door and saw Severus standing outside. They both came inside together as Desella informed him about chicken nuggets.

Severus smiled helplessly as he softly flicked Desella's forehead. " Always thinking about food"

Desella pouted but still opened the shares and distributed them.

They both happily ate nuggets without speaking. As they were finished eating as usual Severus took it upon himself to clean the table and dispose of the waste. Within minutes Severus was done with everything and sat back again on the chair.

"So Did you find out anything?" Severus asked.

UH!

Desella burped!

"....."

"....."

Desella became thoroughly embarrassed whereas Severus stiffened his laughter.

To relieve herself from this embarrassing moment Desella swiftly started explaining what she saw in the morning.

"I met with an old lady across the street which is four-lane ahead of us. When I saw her she looked like an average old woman but something was different about her. I don't know what but there was something. I could feel it and it was dangerous but didn't mean any harm. She had a tiny cart and was selling ornaments made up of shells. If you look at them you will see it as a normal ornament switch some high intricate designing but as soon as you examine it with a close distance you'll see something else"

"Else? What else?"

"Something was engraved on those ornaments in Nesseyes. I was shocked when I saw Nesseyes on it but resisted my urge to question her about it. I just pretended dumb and bought a bracelet. Oh! Wait''

"Hmm?"

"I bought a bracelet. Let me show you" With this Desella stood up and ran towards her room and bought a tiny box. She sat back on her chair and opened it and showed it to Severus.

"See. Look closely here. You can see Nesseyes written here. I don't know what is written here but when I asked the woman about it she told me that this bracelet is one of the pieces from her selection which is known as Alive. Something seems fishy about her. What do you think? Should we keep an eye on her?"

"Neh, before attacking we should be aware of the enemy's capabilities. We still don't know who she is and Ness Eyes has always been a problem for me. If possible, I want to befriend this old woman this time so I can gather some information about it"

"O"

"Oh yes! She also offered me to tour around Hui Island. In reality, I pretended dumb around her and she pitied me and said that he will inform me about Hui Island. Isn't it great? I secured a chance to meet with her again. Do you want to go with me too?"

"Sure"

"Tomorrow then?"

"Why tomorrow? We will take a look around in the evening. If we are lucky, we might cross paths with her if not we will go tomorrow "

Desella chirped happily.

"What about you Severus? What did you find out?"

As Desella completed her sentence she saw Noworry entering inside the house. It always remained a mystery for Desella how noworry used to enter inside the rooms. She saw him entering inside the several rooms that didn't have any windows. Although she wasn't sure. Internally she believed that Noworry might have an ability to travel through the walls.
