A Fallen Knight-Lost art of Necromancy

Severus opened a red velvet box and took out the thousand yarn pearl. 

"Wow, what is it? It looks so beautiful?" Like a typical woman she too was fascinated by this pearl however, Severus quietly picked up the pearl as he kept it in his palms.

"Noworry, here a candy for you"

"...."

[....]

[Am I a dog?]

"....."

"No this is a high-level candy made up from divine cow milk. I especially bought it for you"

Noworry was skeptical but after seeing how casual Severus was behaving, he picked up the pearl and ate it.

Gulp.

"How is it?"

[Tasteless]

"Expected"

[What do you mean?]

Severus smugly spat. "You just ate a thousand yarn pearl"

"..."

[...]

[Da fq]

[Whaaaa…..What….Why did you make me eat a pearl? What if I would have choked myself with it?]

Severus smiled guiltily. It was true, he never thought about Noworry choking himself over a pearl but whatever. At least his work was done. Noworry consumed the pearl.

"What is it, Severus?" Desella questioned.

Severus explained everything about the beggar sect and Gui Song. Desella giggled from time to time whereas Noworry's expression turned for worse and by the end Noworry was fuming in rage as he started hitting Severus with his wings.

[You stupid damn brat!]

[You dares to feed me some eezy-weezy medicine. Don't you care about me? What if this medicine has any aftereffect on my body? I can't recklessly consume any medicine and here you are feeding me a trashy pearl. You wait..I will turn you blue and black today]

Noworry continued with his attacks. He hit Severus with his soft wings which were like a wind blow for Severus. He did nothing to stop him and just smiled in happiness.

Noworry saw Severus smirk and he felt irked for some reason. Suddenly his heart started aching and he felt breathlessness. As he was flying, he stumbled on his wings like a drunkard and with a thump fell on the ground.

Thump!

Motionless.

Not even breathing.

Everything happened in a blink. Even before Severus could catch Noworry from falling he had already hit the floor. Severus' heart skipped a beat whereas Desella was too shocked to utter anything. For a moment no one said anything and a dead silence engulfed the room. With trembling hands, Severus picked up noworry and laid him on the table. He signaled Desella to bring a glass of water.

She quickly ran inside the kitchen and brought a glass of water. When she entered the dining room again she saw Severus kneeling in front of the table as he was deliberating whether to check on Noworry or not. He was shivering in fear as his face lost the pallor. His pupils dilated and it looked as if he was lost. Lost into nothingness. Even after waiting for a few minutes, Severus didn't touch Noworry. It was obvious that he was fearing. Fearing for the thing that he never wanted to happen. Fear for his wild thoughts to come true. Desella couldn't take it anymore and finally tapped on Severus' shoulder.

Severus instantly jerked as he stared at Desella.

"Here, take it and sprinkle some water over him" Desella softly advised him however he didn't take over the glass from her hands.

"Can you? Please Desella can you check Noworry? I request you"

"It's all my fault. I'm a bad person. It's all my fault. I was the one who brought that pearl for him….I can't bear the weight of my action if something unfortunate happens to him"

Severus gripped Desella hand's tightly in fear.

Desella could understand the pressure and state of mind in which Severus was, however, she was aware that even if something unfortunate happens, it should be Severus who should confirm it and face things. Tears escaped from her eyes and rolled down her cheeks. She bit her lips to control her emotions as she patted Severus on his head. "Be good Severus and check on Noworry. He just fell unconscious, what are you fearing for? Come on, you can't cry like girls all the time. Get up"

She strictly called him out. 

Severus went into a daze as he saw how fierce she was but he understood that whatever she was doing was for him. Only for him. He collected himself up and stood on his feet as he checked up on Noworry. He tried to control his shaking and observed that Noworry was still breathing but it was very faint. He released a sigh. Finally his soul which left him came back to his body. He carefully carried Noworry and went back to his room. There he placed Noworry on his bed as he covered him up with his blanket. Desella saw everything. 

Since everything happened so suddenly she was still in a state of shock. She saw how upset Severus was thus she closed the door of his room and collected her stuff from the table and went back inside her room. 

Inside her room, she was in a state of frenzy. How could she take a breather when Noworry was still lying unconscious. Fear slowly crept inside her heart too and she became restless.

As she was pacing inside her bedroom she heard a knock on the door.

Knock, Knock!

Katchak!

The door opened without any permission.

It was Severus. He stood there outside her room quietly but this time there were no emotions on his face. No anger , no sadness, no grief or anxiety. Nothing. It was just like a blank canvas.

Desella never feared Severus but at this very moment she feared nothing in this world but only Severus. 

"We are going to meet that old woman. Get ready and meet me outside. I am waiting downstairs."

Severus left after speaking.

Swish!

Cold wind touched Desella. She subconsciously shivered and brought her arms together for warmth. "The Hell"

She quickly flawed Severus outside and when she saw him waiting downstairs she couldn't help but ask," What about Noworry? Are we going to leave him alone"

Severus stared blankly at Desella as he replied." He is fine. Although I too don't wish to leave him alone, meeting that old woman is urgent too. For noworrry sake I need to meet and and have a good talk with her.

Desella refrained herself from asking anything more and quietly led him to the street where she met the old lady however when they reached there they found nothing. The old lady was nowhere to be found. Desella was shocked whereas Severus was calm. It was as if he predicted this outcome.

Desella frantically searched for any evidence but she found nothing. She panicked and a doubt flickered inside her mind. "Severus I am sure it was right here in the morning. I mean see even the shop is here. It's ridiculous"

Severus knew that Desella wasn't lying. He didn't give any reaction and just asked everyone near the vicinity about the old woman. However, the news they got was very strange. 

Another shopkeeper told Severus that today an old lady came with her cart and stopped it in front of the ornament shop. Everyone laughed at her stupidity since she parked her cart in front of one of the famous ornament shops of Hui Island. It belonged to the second daughter of lord. The Ball pitied the old lady and even asked her to shift her cart but she was adamant on it. The shop owner even snickered and made fun of her but she debated with the manager of the shop. She said that ;If they don't fear then why are they chasing away'. The manager nearly puked blood because of anger. Everyone around there started to laugh and gwaff at old women's stupidity. 

The manager of the shop let her park her cart there so he can later poke fun of her. As predicted no one bought anything from that old lady. Despite being sad the old lady sat there with full of smiles. She sacneed everyone and smirked. It was as if she was disdaining everyone. People felt uncomfortable under her smile thus no one paid any attention to her. She sat idle there enjoying the view of her cart. From time to time she would look around and when she found no one a look of disappointment flashed in his eyes. She waited until it was afternoon. Later a young woman came to her shop and bought something from her. Everyone thought that since customer were now coming to her the old lady will try her best to sell her good but to everyone's horror, after the girl left the old woman also packer her things and left the alley. 

Everyone was specchless.

The owner who wanted to poke fun of her also was shocked. It was as if she was waiting for that girl only. 

This piece of information brought a huge shock for Desella. She was bewildered. Several doubts started running wild in her brain.

Who was that old woman?

Why did she leave after I left?

Does she anyhow know about me or Severus?

And the major question. Was she friend or foe?

Since noworry was in deathly state and now this old lay went missing. Everything became hella confusing.

"Mr can you tell us the way she went?"

The shopkeeper told them the way and without any delay Severus and Desella went on the same way.
