A Fallen Knight-Lost art of Necromancy

Desella did not know how she should react. On one side she hated Melanie to the core while after encountering everything she started biting her. Once a colorful life of Melanie was coming to its end and it was not peaceful at all.

"So why are we here Severus?"

"To break the curse of course!" Severus glared at her.

Desella flinched under his glare. "Do you know how to reverse a curse?"

Severus brought No worry out from his pocket and placed him on the center of the tablet.

"I would get the answers to this question as soon as I will give it a try"

After placing No worry on the tablet Severus used Shui Song blood to make a blood rune on the tablet. He made a rather complicated blood rune and after he was done, he used a waste cloth to wipe his hands. He ignited three incense sticks around No worry and stepped backed ashes kneeled on the ground and clasped his hand. It was a praying stance.

Severus started chanting spells.

Suddenly strong winds started blowing. Desella wanted to protect Severus from the debris but she was pushed backward. It was as if an invisible force pushed her. She tried resetting it but to no avail. As she was going to use her magic, she saw light coming from the tablet. The blood around Noworry started illuminating maroon red. Soon the intensity of the light increased as well as of wind. Nearby trees started falling off and even the nearby animals left the place. Desella got back on her knees and as she was going to place her foot ahead, she was again pushed backward. It was as if there was an invisible barrier in front of her. She felt helpless as well as scared. All these were not good omens. Winds did not stop howling not even for once and as for red light, it too increased. At one time the light became so bright that Desella needed to cover her eyes using her arm to shield them.

The intensity remained for five minutes. Those five minutes were a bizarre experience for Desella. In those five minutes, she heard sounds that would even scare the bravest. She had goosebumps on her entire body. After the torture finished Desella slowly opened her eyes. Her whole body was trembling under fear and she felt like losing sanity at any moment, but she still tried her best to keep her composure. She calmed her nerves and her eyes started searching for Severus. She looked ahead and saw Severus had stopped chanting his spell and was looking above. She raised her neck upwards and saw an astonishing view.

A beautiful blackbird was flying in the sky while displaying her impeccable beauty. Due to the full moon, there was enough light for her to see the blackbird. When the moonlight fell on the bird's feathers a unique luster produced from it. She was expurgated and mesmerized at the same time.

"The…This….if. A bird?"

"Severus"

Desella screamed in horror laced with amazement.

Severus who was kneeling on the ground stood up and gazed at the bird.

"Don't fear"

���Are you mad? A huge magical bird is flying on our head and you are telling me to remain calm" She said anxiously.

Severus just smiled. "It's Noworry in his true form"

"What~~~"

"Noworry"

"Are you serious?"

Severus nodded his head.

Desella however just stared at the blackbird. After being told by Severus she saw the similarities in it.

"Indeed, it is no worry" She exclaimed in delight.

"Hey, you arrogant bird! You are not fully healed. Shrink your size and let us head back." Severus teased him however Noworry just flapped his wings loudly. In an instant dust was spanked on his face.

Cough Cough.

Severus had a fit of cough.

"Damn you bird. You are doing it intentionally. You did it last time too"

The preparatory at this time had already shrunk in his size and softly landed on Severus' head. He comfortably snuggled on his head.

"…"

"…"

Desella and Severus were speechless.

Since Noworry was still weak they both did not force him to talk and just quietly continued their journey to the way back to their rented apartment.

While they were on their way Desella remembered something.

"Severus"

"Yeah?"

"What happened to the tablet?"

"Oh! The tablet cracked and reduced to dust"

"What…. How come this happened?"

Severus contemplated for a moment before explaining to her. "although I am not sure about it too and it's only my theory. After one of the members misused the blessing the tablet erased the twelve commands and again this time it was misused thus I guess the blessing was taken away from Hades. After All, if not handled carefully this curse can actually kill people''

Desella nodded her head in understanding.

Soon they reached back to their apartment and dozed off.

It was indeed a stressful night for them, so many things happened and so many secrets were revealed.

The next Morning Severus was summoned back to the royal court. A glorified carriage was sent for him while Shino personally came to pick him. When Severus saw such a huge grandeur, he furrowed his brows but didn't say anything and quietly accompanied them with Desella. After a short journey, they reached the court. It was the second time for Severus here. He observed the castle and appreciated it. It was indeed a beautiful but comparatively small castle. Even the scenery around it was beautiful. When Severus entered the royal court, he was met with several glances. Some of them were filled with hatred and disgust while some were suspicious, and the rest was nothing but a look. Severus ignored the glares and went straight as he bowed respectively against the new lord.

"Morning his majesty"

The old man was now wearing golden robes and a gold crown was placed on his head. He merely nodded his head and asked him to get up. "Aye Kiddo you are here finally. I know it was selfish of me to ask for your help and I could not even give you anything in return. Even our exchange was futile in the end. I apologize for it" Gui Song humbly apologize.

Seeing that even the lord was apologizing to all the members of the beggar sect, they knelt on the floor and bowed their heads to apologize. Whatever Severus did was for them. Everyone benefited from it, so everyone shouldered responsibility equally.

Severus chuckled after seeing all this. "What is this? Do not embarrass me, old man. I hope you can keep your words"

Gui Song's face lit up when he heard him as he frantically nodded his head in approval.

"Of course. Of course. How can I forget about it? No matter what happened the Song family will support you till the end. You have my words"

Severus smiled as he replied. "That's what I wanted and now I have got it I shall go back. It was nice to stay here. Allow me to leave this island his majesty"

Gui Song's face fell when he heard that Severus was leaving. Not only him but entire members of the beggar sect became sad. For them, Severus was a hero, and they were reluctant to part with their hero.

"If You want then you can stay here for some more days. I bet you have not visited the entire land. Allow me to help you explore the beauty of this land" Gui Song eyes sparked when he said that.

It was so funny to witness this scene.

Severus just laughed. "That's not quite possible, his majesty. I have unfinished work. Maybe next time"

Gui Song sighed. He was aware that he could not stop Severus but at least he tried.

Clap!

Gui Song clapped his hands and two maids who were in standby came forward with large plates.

Desella scrunched her nose when she noticed how little they were wearing. Their skin was exposed to air. She just humped.

"Accept this as a token of gratitude"

"What is his majesty?"

"They are some herbal medicines and elixirs that are the Song family's specialty. Please accept it"

Since the lord pleaded it wouldn't be nice to say no and neither Severus had any plans to deny them. He flashed a big smile as he thanked him.

"Thanks for the gifts lord. Now shall we?"

"Sure. Let Shino see you off"

The trio left the courtroom and was chilling under the shade. Since Lord gave him a special carriage Shino too wanted to thank Severus, so he brought him to a lovely garden. Severus and Desella did not deny his proposal and followed him. In front of them was a beautiful garden filled with blue roses.

"It's beautiful but it doesn't look like a garden?" Severus voiced his thoughts.

Shino was embarrassed. "Yeah, it's not a garden but a courtyard. It's been only a day here, so I don't know the ways of the palace. This was the nearest place where can talk freely so I brought you here"

Desella pouted and glared at Shino whereas he just smiled silly.

Bam!

Something shattered.

The trio heard the sound and instantly flipped their necks to see what was broken.

A frail girl with straight black hair stepped up. She looked haggard and dark circles were too obvious. She was the second lady of the Song family, Selena. It was shocking what a single night did to her. She looked scary and with her bloodshot eyes, she emitted a maniac aura.
