"Miss Selena be careful '' One of her attendees shouted worriedly. Selena, who was on the ground, picked herself up and noticed a trio in front of her. Rage, anger, frustration, and madness were visible in her eyes. She gritted her teeth and turned around leaving the garden.

"What is she doing here?" Desella asked.

Shino scratched his head as he replied. "I think it's her courtyard"

"..."

"Tch"

Severus forced a smile when he saw Selena's expression. He turned around and bid farewell to Shino. "Shino there is no need for formalities. Please take Desella to the carriage. I remember some undone work. I will be there shortly"

"But where are you going?" Desella asked agitatedly.

"I will be back" With this he went straight to the hallway.

"I bet he is going to meet that bitch's sister"

"...."

"Why are you like this Severus?" Desella grumbled in annoyance. She marched forwards in anger leaving Shino alone in the garden.

"..."

"Miss please wait for me. Miss Desella. Hello...." Shino shouted while following her but she didn't reply. Shino was puzzled by everyone's behavior, but he did not mind it. 

Severus stood outside Selena's room.

Knock Knock!

Severus knocked on the door. The door was opened swiftly by one of the maids. "Can I come in? I need to chat with the second miss." Severus explained his reason for coming.

Selena heard everything while she was inside. Despite being angry with Severus she could not help thinking about him. No matter how much she tried hating him but at the last her heart never hated him. May somewhere inside her heart she knew that whatever Severus did was right. Like today, she could not bear to deny his visit. She gave her approval and dismissed her maids from the room.

"Still angry miss Selena" Severus spoke casually.

Selena who was facing the window twirled around as she glared at him without saying anything.

"I see you are angry" Severus quickly said as he closed the distance between them and handed her a beautiful bunch of flowers which he had brought earlier from outside when he was leaving the garden.

Selena dejectedly accepted the roses. 

Severus sighed when he noticed her anger. "Selena I won't ask for forgiveness since I don't think I did wrong. I know it is hard for you to accept your father's death but you need to gather yourself. You need to accept reality and move on with it. It is fine if you don't want to do it. Maybe you want revenge from me for killing your father or from Gui Song. Maybe you just hate yourself from the core of your heart. It is okay if you want to hate anyone however, I am here to warn you about something. If you want to take revenge on me then believe me when I say this. It will not be easy. I will not let anyone trample on me. Never. I know you are not like your sister Melanie and that is one of the reasons I am here. Although you are not like her now, no one knows when you will turn to become like her. Selena, you are like an open book for me. I can read what is in your heart. Your sister, your dad, they were nice but only for you. I want you to believe in yourself and to voice out your feelings and your thoughts. You are kind Selena just doesn't get mis-guided."

Selena was dazed.

She stared at him with her big watery eyes. "Why should I listen to you?" 

"I never said to listen to me just listen to your heart"

"What if I don't? What if I want to take revenge on you all? What if I kill Gui Song? What if I kill you right here?" As she said this, she tried slashing it around his neck, but Severus just skidded and evaded the attack as he locked her in his embrace. 

"There there, lil Selena. Anger makes you age faster so avoid being angry dear"

"Just shut the hell up. I do not want to listen to such bullshit. Just who the hell are you? Like a mysterious person, you invaded our castle then made a fool of me, and later killed my father. How can I ever forgive you? You have the audacity to lecture me? Who do you think you are?" She raged out.

"..."

"I am Severus and for your information, I never made a fool of you. Whatever I told you that day was correct and honest but If you do feel it another way, I cannot help it. All I could do is.' 

Thud!

Severus kneeled on his right knee as he bowed his head. "I am sorry for turning you into an orphan kid. Although it was for the greater good still, I made the fatherly love in your life disappear and I will always remain guilty, but I wish you don't follow your father's and sisters' footsteps. I cannot believe that you are unaware of your father and sister's doings but I can also understand that keeping quiet was the only thing you could have done at the moment since you were powerless. Even if you felt bad for the victims there was nothing much you could do about it, so you just sealed everything. Well Selena you need to grow and become powerful. The world is cruel but it's not dishonest. It gives you back the exact thing in ten folds what you give it to him. I hope you understand"

As he finished what he had to say Severus stood up on his feet and patted Selena's head and left the room with a peaceful smile.

Selena on the other hand was stunned for a while. When she came out of her daze, she experienced wetness on her cheeks. What else could it be? She didn't know when but the tears that were holding back until now started flowing freely when Severus patted her head. The touch was so warm. To her, it felt like the hand of God. She no longer felt hopeless, lost, and angry. Instead, she never felt so focused on one thing. He literally came and changed the life of Selena.

She touched her face and went in front of the mirror as she looked at her reflection. 

This is me?

She screamed loudly.

Yes, he is right. I was weak earlier. I failed to protect my maidservants who were like best friends to me from my father. "Yes, miss?" Everyone said in unison.

"You have sixty seconds to treat me up and put me in my best shape" 

Everyone was stunned.

"Start" Without warning, she started counting and everyone was flustered. Quick enough they got a hang of themselves and diligently started doing their work.

"And finished" After her countdown she looked at herself in the mirror and was satisfied.

She self-praised herself but before her maids could respond back, she lifted her skirt and started running as fast as she could.

"OH, dear Selena wait"

Several people shouted and tried to stop her, but she dodged everyone. The guards were helpless too. They couldn't touch Selena because if they did then this would be called an offense for touching the second lady. All they could do was to follow her to see what she was up to. 

Selena ran like her feet were on fire and after running for a few minutes she finally reached her destination. It was the parking lot of a carriage. Desella was already inside the carriage and Severus one foot was already inside the carriage when he heard a loud noise from outside. He furrowed his brows and retreated to see a panting Selen­­a.
