"Even I can tell that you're being sarcastic." 

"If you weren't able to tell then I would be severely disappointed in your social comprehension." Bao smugly said and then landed on the man's table. It looked at the computer and saw that there was some site open. "You're reading… xianxia online?"

Li Yang nodded imperceptibly. "Yes."

"First of all, why?" Bao deadpanned at Li Yang and couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed. While it was true that the man somehow even made looking in front of a bright-white screen look good, the idea that Li Yang was researching cultivation via online truly ticked it off.

"There are some good lines that perhaps I can repeat when interacting with Bo Lifen tomorrow. I do need to sound like an actual cultivator." Li Yang shrugged. "More importantly, I may find some ideas."

"Creativity? Inspiration?" Li Yang tapped idly and leaned back across his office chair and swiveled around to look at Bao. "My current techniques and skills are all very disorganized and I feel like I'm a student procrastinating for his exams at the very last night."

Bao gave Li Yang a sigh and rubbed its head. "So you're doing all of these instead of asking actual cultivators what their skillset are?"

"I could ask Taiga but I'm aware that her techniques are a bit… unconventional and would probably not match for Lifen." Li Yang coughed. "And I also don't want her to realize that I'm a bit lacking in terms of cultivation techniques or it's beyond my expertise."

"Huh, I didn't expect that you'd actually care about your reputation this much." Bao chuckled.

"It's inevitable that someone will always look down on me or have nothing but unfavorable opinions towards me, but I do want to be seen as reliable and dependable by these people who look up to me." Li Yang explained.

"How… human." 

Li Yang raised a brow in amusement. "When did I ever claim myself to be otherwise?"

"Well, the best thing that you could do is focus on your own skills, right?" Bao asked.

"I sincerely doubt that Lifen would be interested in harem cultivation or benefit from it," Li Yang said. "And if you do look at my obtained skills, it's more martial arts and language-oriented skills that I picked up while I was in Telriah. She has no need for those."

"I did."

Li Yang summoned the Personal Cultivation Screen and gave it a look. It was a rather simple screen that showed him what he had already seen before.
