After Luo Shuyan got out of the car after Luo Tianyuan, she stood at the ground floor and looked up at the company’s logo.

She followed her father into his workplace, and met a few workers on the way. All of them knew who he was and when Luo Shuyan observed the way they spoke to her father, she figured that they too weren’t aware of her father’s secret. In the novel, it was also described that most thought that the owner of the logistics company was a businessman from Shenzhen, but the actual owner of the company was Luo Tianyuan.

She had heard her father talking on the phone, and found out that her family wasn’t as poor as they seemed, and it was quite likely that she was a 2nd generation rich child. However, she didn’t want to easily conclude that her father was the same person as mentioned in the novel, who was also “Luo Tianyuan”.

This was until she walked into the office with Luo Tianyuan.

Luo Tianyuan’s office wasn’t very big, He usually shared his office with another sales person. The salesperson happened to be working outstation at the moment.

Luo Tianyuan had planned to read books with his daughter, however, as soon as he reached his room, his landline rang. The contractor from the factory had arrived to talk to him. When he was about to leave, he placed his wallet on the table and said, “Shuyan, Papa has something to do and will leave for a moment. There’s a convenience store outside the company building on the left hand side, you won’t need to cross the road. Go ahead and buy whatever you want, Papa will leave my wallet here for you.”

Luo Shuyan obediently agreed.

When Luo Tianyuan had left, she filled open the wallet and saw a picture of her and her father that was taken when she was three.

She was chubbier back then, to a point where she wanted to laugh at herself. Just as she was about to put the wallet back, she saw a word printed at the lower right corner of his wallet — Smile-yan.

She instantly froze.

In the novel, Luo Tianyuan had named the company based in Shenzhen, “Smile-yan” – “Smile-yan Fashion Co. Ltd.”

People from those days understood what was happening around the world by reading the newspaper and watching the news on TV.

In actuality, Smile-yan was one of the leading fashion brands in Shenzhen. Sadly, Shenzhen was geographically too far away from Ning City, so even Shen Qingruo had never heard of the brand.

Luo Shuyan recalled that in the novel, Smile-yan had introduced a new leather jacket in its autumn line, and the design was stunning, so it became a huge hit. So, the company took the opportunity to introduce a wallet in a similar design.

Now, the words “Smile-yan” were printed on her father’s wallet… Was this merely a coincidence?

Just as Luo Shuyan started pondering upon the issue, the notebook on her father’s office table caught her attention. The notebook had been left open and there were lines of words that’d been crossed out. At the bottom of the page, under two lines were drawn under a single word.

Luo Tianyuan’s mind was preoccupied by his daughter that he’d left alone in his office. He promptly settled his work related issues and came back. When he arrived, he saw his daughter day-dreaming with a hand propping up her chin.

He didn’t want to startle her, so he gently knocked on the door.

When she heard the knocking, she sat straight and looked at her father who was at the door.

Luo Tianyuan approached her and stood in front of the office table. He reached forward and ruffled his daughter’s hair. “Did you not go out to buy food? Or have you finished eating?”

Luo Shuyan was in no mood to eat. She wouldn’t even be interested if the world’s greatest delicacies were in front of her.

She only had one thing on her mind, and she trembled everytime she thought of what she was trying to prove.

She pointed at the two words written on the notebook. “Papa, part of my name is included in this word!”

In actuality, she could read the entire word, and she knew many words. However, she had to keep up the act, so she pretended to not know.

Luo Tianyuan’s gaze followed her plump fingers to see what she was pointing at. He smiled and gently said, “Mn, your name is the second syllable in the word. The front bit is pronounced as ‘for’, ‘for’ also means ‘to give’.”

“Papa likes the combination of this word a lot! I’ll give you a huge surprise when you grow up. So I can’t tell you much about it yet.”

He’d always wanted to start an entertainment company, and for the past two years, it’d been in the planning stage. If everything goes according to plan, the company will start running latest by the end of next year.

Song Qianjing told him to think about a name for the company beforehand and have the name registered to avoid it being taken by someone else.

In his opinion, “For-yan” was the perfect name for the occasion.

This was his present for his daughter.

Luo Shuyan was in shock. In the novel, the male protagonist, Luo Tianyuan, established an entertainment company and that company produced multiple award winning movies and trained countless world famous artists.

And what was the name of the company you may ask?

It was called — “For-yan Media Corp”.

Luo Tianyuan noticed the odd expression on her daughter’s face, and this caused him to recall what his daughter had gone through the day before. He hurriedly asked, “Are you alright? Are you not feeling well?”

Luo Shuyan mentally shook her head in anguish. However, she got her act together and said, “I’m fine.”

It was nothing major. It was just that she felt that she didn’t have many days left to live…
