Throne Of Time

Chapter 85 - 84 - I-Island (3)

After leaving the laboratory, Kurumi did not immediately return to the hotel she was given for this visit to the I-Expo. Instead, she wandered around the island in silence.

Kurumi was thinking very deeply about the Quirks. How is it that they would interact with her Zafkiel?

The Quirk is, after all, a part of the body of the person who owns it. One For All is no different from the others. In a way, it can be said that all Quirks are peaceful symbionts who bond with their "host."

Now, what is the way they would interact? The fourth bullet, Dalet, how would it behave in this world? Dalet's power is to reconnect body parts, and based on the time used in the shot, it would increase its power and time from the moment of injury.

One For All does not belong to any of the owners except the first. Perhaps not even the first, but rather to All For One, or the person who owned it at first. Still, it would be a "wound" since a piece of them is no longer present in the body.

Using Dalet, would she restore power to All Might if she used a great deal of her time? After all, the Quirk now belongs to Izuku Midoriya.

So, would One For All be gone from the freckled boy to go back to All Might? Or else would it stay like this, since now they are linked to each other?

After a thousand questions and possible answers, Kurumi shook her head with a smile, swinging her black hair left and right with the movement of her head.

Kurumi is not a scientist. Even if she is curious, it does not mean that she would use a lot of precious time. She is saving for possible eventualities, should she use Dalet. Kurumi knows that the time it would take from her is too great.

Checking the watch on her wrist, Kurumi looked at the time. Only now did she realize what time it was. She didn't even notice the sunset falling in the distance in the previously blue sky.

"I better get ready. After all, I haven't checked into the hotel yet after I got here."

To not have something in her hand, Kurumi has put it in her shadow. In fact, she has many things inside her ability, things that she thinks will be of great use in the future. Better to prepare, even if excessively, than not to prepare at all.

The hotel, luckily for her, was very close to the central tower.

Moving her gaze, Kurumi observed the central tower, positioned in the center of the whole island, a building with over 200 floors and a height of more than 750 meters.

Kurumi, being very close, can sense precisely how big it is. She has to admit it's something she has never seen. After all, when she was still in the spirit world, buildings of this level weren't there. Space Quakes would just destroy it.

Kurumi admits she is curious about what exactly is inside. The island boasts that it is practically equal to the levels of Tartarus, the maximum-security prison for the highest-level criminals.

Precisely for this reason, she believes that many of these experiments done in the tower would see nasty views in the world. There are not all those problems because of the maximum confidentiality.

If there is one thing that All For One, or Kurogiri in general, has not told her, it is about what they aim for by raiding this island and taking control of it.

Turning her gaze on the bed, Kurumi observed the dress that she was given.

A one-shoulder sheath dress with an open back and a slit that would show one leg. The dress is entirely black, with one-half of the dress in honey color with various black-colored embroideries matching the black-colored part.

As for the shoes, however, it is an open-high heel, always in a shiny black color, a perfect match for the dress.

Kurumi, just passing her hand over the dress, felt the quality of the silk used to create this dress.

Without overthinking, she prepared carefully. After all, looks are something she cares about.

Walking in high heels, Kurumi entered the party's hall. Her entry was immediately seen, and countless people recognized her.

Consequently, many guests at the event headed in Kurumi's direction, even before she could do anything. Many people started a conversation, to which Kurumi replied in a few words with a smile.

She doesn't want to have much to do with a lot of these people. After all, most of them have only secondary purposes with approaching her.

"Miss Tokisaki, it is an honor for me to meet you tonight; the dress you are wearing gives you an extraordinary look like never seen before."

Kurumi smiled and replied concisely, "Thank you, it's a pŀėȧsurė for me to meet you too," before turning her head towards the rest, without allowing continuing.

While all of this was going on, a muscular man in a hero suit with two blonde locks on his forehead was looking. He held a crystal glass of champagne in his hand.

The man in question is All Might, and alongside him was his longtime old friend, David Shield.

David Shield, very formal in his evening suit of a cyan-blue color close to light gray, a purple waistcoat, a pure white shirt, and a tie of a deep blue, nearly black.

He, too, had a glass of champagne in his hand, just like All Might.

"Haha, Kurumi is as popular as ever," All Might said, watching that scene.

David Shield was already looking at the group of people around Kurumi as they continually tried to strike up a conversation.

He replied to the hero with a slight smile, albeit a bit forced, "Miss Tokisaki is very popular."

It would be false to say that the mood is at its best after Kurumi refused to help, or at least try if it was possible to do so, to cure All Might.

Kurumi seems to have sensed All Might's gaze. After all, he is entirely different from everyone else in the room.

Then, apologizing to those around her, Kurumi headed in the direction of All Might.

All Might, seeing Kurumi coming towards him, said with a slightly nervous smile, "Hey ... Kurumi, we haven't seen each other in a long time!"

Kurumi listened to the hero's words and let a laugh escape from her crimson red lips because of the lipstick.

"Always in the mood for joking, I see, All Might."

"Haha," All Might replied with a small laugh. It would not be accurate to say that he is not "nervous" among all these people. Few people started a "debate" with him, this gave him room to breathe, but the fact that Kurumi got close to him made him understand that this peace would not last much longer.

"Good evening, Mr. Shield," Kurumi later said to the middle-aged man with brown hair and aquamarine eyes.

"Good evening to you, Miss Tokisaki," raising the crystal glass in the direction of Kurumi, who, seeing his gesture, reciprocated, clinking between the two crystal glasses, then taking a small sip.

Feeling the taste, Kurumi opened her eyes slightly.

Its bright fruit flavors, notes of toast, coffee, cream, and vanilla match perfectly, creating something unprecedented. At least of everything, Kurumi has ever tasted in her life.

Right at that moment, the organizer's voice reached the ears of all present.

"Dear ladies and gentlemen, I warmly welcome you to the I-Expo reception party."

Hearing these words, everyone turned their gaze towards the stage, where an elderly man stood in front of a microphone.

"I would like to ask the number one hero, who is present today in this room, to put a few words for all present to guide us to make a toast."

"Everyone, please give him a round of applause."

The organizer's words made All Might even more "nervous."

"I should have known that I was going to be called to give a speech."

The two tufts on the hero's forehead, in fact, dropped slightly down as if to show the mood that All Might was feeling right now.

After the organizer finished his little presentation, Kurumi started clapping, watching All Might, and his indecision in coming forward.

Her slightly bent head has dropped her long, shiny black hair untied over her shoulder, held together by a brooch in the shape of a black rose.

As she applauded, the slight smirk Kurumi had on her face "sold" her to the hero's eyes, who resigned to his fate by seeing that, not that he could have pulled back after he was called on stage.

This gesture of Kurumi immediately provoked the others to do the same, leaving no "escape" for the hero, who was forced by Kurumi to come forward.

Giving a genuine little laugh, David Shield applauded his friend to come forward.

Within seconds, All Might was already on stage. The microphone in front of him, ready to give his "speech."

"Thank you all for inviting me here today. I'm All Might! To be honest, I don't like formal discussions. For that reason, I hope you forgive me, haha!"

However, before the hero could begin his actual speech, the warning emergency signal appeared on the screen behind him, stunning everyone but Kurumi.

Without anyone being able to react, the emergency system of the island equal to Tartarus was activated in the room, immediately tying all the heroes present, including All Might, with metallic blue ribbons.

"What the heck ..." All Might exclaimed in a low voice.

Subsequently, people armed with firearms and with their faces covered entered the front door.

Looking at all this, All Might understood.

'This is a problem ....'
