Villain Is on Vacation

As he swam further downstream, Rain noticed the water starting to get murkier.

Suddenly, a large shadow appeared beneath him, and he looked down to see a giant catfish swimming past him. It was easily over a meter long, and Rain was momentarily taken aback by its size.

As he continued to explore the underwater world, Rain encountered other large fish such as carp, pike, and trout.

He saw several crayfish scurrying along the riverbed and was surprised to see a large freshwater clam nestled in the sand.

At one point, he came across a small waterfall that led into a small pool of crystal-clear water.

As he dove down, he saw several baby turtles swimming in the shallow water, and he watched them curiously as they paddled around him.

Rain felt like he was in a completely different world as he swam in the river. He was filled with a sense of wonder and awe at the beauty of the creatures he encountered.

Rain was awestruck by the underwater world he was experiencing for the first time. He had never dived before in his previous life, as he was too busy. Now he was discovering the wonders of the aquatic environment.

Filled with excitement, he set out to find anything useful that he could bring back to the surface. After searching for some time, he came across some aquatic plants that appeared to have transformed into herbs due to the world's changes. Rain decided to collect them in his space ring.

As he continued to explore, he caught sight of something glittering in the distance. Curious, he swam towards it, only to find a shimmering stone that looked like a pearl. But as he get closer to it, he was surprised to find that it wasn't a stone at all, but a gleaming pearl that was the size of a fist.

'Eh? No! That can't be here… Why is this thing here?' Rain's heart raced as he caught sight of the unexpected object.

He couldn't believe what he was seeing, and countless questions raced through his mind. What was that thing doing there? How did it get there?

'Fuck I have to run...' Feeling a sense of danger, Rain knew he had to get out of there as quickly as possible.

He swore under his breath and decided to run away as fast as he could.

Without even bothering to change out of his swimsuit, he raced towards home, dodging and destroying anything that came in his way.

In a few moments, Rain arrived at his home. He quickly closed his main door tightly and ran to his room.

"Huff... Hah... Huff..." Rain was out of breath after running like that. It was like his soul left his body. He just sat on the bed.

'That thing is trouble.' Rain was really stressed about the trouble that thing can bring.

There are several other races in this world, like Dwarfs, Elves, Giants, Orcs, and Avians who reside in the sky.

Similarly, there are also sea creatures such as Mermaids, Nāgas, and Lamias, who live in the water.

The object that Rain saw is the Mermaid's Pearl, which serves as an identification card for mermaids to prevent other races from infiltrating their society.

In the past the world where mermaids lived before coming to the Earth, they were often kidnapped by other races due to their beauty, enchanting voices, and unique bodies, which were valuable materials for tailoring and alchemy.

Even their tears were highly coveted materials. To prevent this from happening, they created the Mermaid's Pearl system. Without possessing the pearl, no outsider can enter their city, which is located in the depths of the sea.

The Mermaid's Pearl is crucial for maintaining the safety and privacy of the mermaid society.

It serves as a safeguard against any outsiders who may cause harm or try to exploit their resources.

The pearl not only identifies them as mermaids but also serves as a symbol of their culture and traditions.

The mermaid's society is unique and cherished by their own people, and they go to great lengths to protect themselves from external threats.

Rain was scared because that pearl indicated many things.

There are three possibilities:

1. It's fake. Which is best?

2. Some mermaids lost it.

It's slightly troublesome, but a not that bad thing for Rain.

3. Somebody died. And the pearl remained there…

This was the worst scenario. Rain really didn't want this one to become true.

Mermaids are often depicted as beautiful and alluring, with a fish-like tail and the ability to breathe underwater. They are usually portrayed as playful and curious, but also fiercely protective of their underwater homes and their fellow kind.

'If those fishes track that thing. They will just explode the whole island.' Just imagining Island getting explode was enough to make Rain worried.

'So annoying.' Rain clicked his tongue.

But with calm mind Rain soon calmed down. He started thinking about system's answer.

"So some idiot killed the mermaid and there is a chance that those fish will come anytime on this island."

Rain started thinking about solution for this problem.
